  1. Foden - the poor man's Bucko.
  2. Theres a CallumRovers that posts on here.
  3. Staggering how much this has cost them. £200m plus 10 years of SKY Prem money. Probably close to £1BN in income.
  4. It would have been cheaper to keep Allardyce
  5. Lewis Holtby injury set-back could hold major impact in Blackburn Rovers contract stance - LancsLive
  6. Yep, they make a bid, we accept if it's high enough. Not a 'release clause' in sight. Glad you've worked it out.
  7. But less than 12 months ago you wanted him out.
  8. No, that's the agreed negotiated price between two clubs. A release clause is contractual. You seem confused?
  9. LOL. you didn't know about the quotes. Let's not tell fibs. And you love a pointless argument so I'm just humouring you. And I love the straw man 50% stuff. You always do the straw man stuff. You need to nip it in the bud.
  10. No, you asked how anyone knew. I told you. You clearly weren't aware of the Waggott quotes. Now you are. You're welcome. Is it? Aren't you just guessing? Don't be silly.
  11. Of course it does, but you asked how anyone would know it was 'big'? I was telling you. From there most people could make an educated guess. An educated guess would say about 30%. That would be the same % that Newcastle shoved on the Toney transfer when they sold him to P'Boro.
  12. That's probably because he hasn't played a full competitive fixture in over 12 months.
  13. It's not irrelevant because 16th, IIRC, is the position we were in when Bowyer was sacked. According to you that meant we were heading for League 1. So the same rule applies to Mowbray. On to the potential Mowbray sacking, I am genuinely unsure. Do I think he's done a good job so far? BB and SG aside, yes I do. Do I believe he'll ever get us in the Prem? Absolutely no chance. Are there better managers out there who would happily come to Rovers? I'm absolutely sure there are. Would Venky's appoint them? I have my doubts. Ultimately if the only criteria is if he gets us in the PO's or not then he has to go. It's all meaningless anyway. Venky's apparently like him, and Waggott won't push for his sacking.
  14. He wanted to sign Keane permanently. That's the big difference. There's absolutely no chance we are signing any of the 3 lads we have on loan now.
  15. You didn't answer my question. If Mowbray hits 16th spot, should we sack him?
  16. As long as you have a Wine of the Week segment. Or Whine of the Week. Or both.
  17. You've ignored the context again. We weren't heading to L1 before Bowyer had his best players sold from under him. And in fact we weren't heading there at all. We were 16th. If Mowbray hits 16th spot then should we sack him? Also, Bowyer saved us from relegation when he took over. Mowbray failed to do the same. Whatever way you slice it Bowyer did a better job than Mowbray, and with less money. Context or no context.
  18. Cairney, Marshall, Gestede, Conway & Duffy all bought for about half of what Gally cost.
