  1. He has done with Dack and Armstrong in fairness. Both are very good Championship players.
  2. Blackburn Rovers consider Bundesliga II left back option | Lancashire Telegraph Looks like there's something in this. He's been offered to Rovers and has a British passport.
  3. That's where the comparison ends. BB will never score 29 goals in a season in the 2nd tier of English football. There's just no strikers instinct there. People will see how good AA is when BB plays up front as a lone striker for a season. Doesn't bear thinking about.
  4. Once they go on sale there'll be two months to sell them before the season starts (details should be released this week). I'm sure that will be enough time to meet demand. We know Waggott's useless and Venky's don't give a shit so it's no surprise we'll probably be the last team in the Champ to have them on sale. There's no chance I'll be paying money towards the Ewood chumocracy currently masquerading as a professional football club, so they can put up for sale in September for all the difference it makes to me. But if you are buying one then as much notice as possible on price/paying options/seating options etc would probably be useful.
  5. He had a purple patch (for him) after lockdown 1 until the end of last season, but this season appears to have reverted to type. He's distinctly average.
  6. I'd agree with others that I think Travis is wasted as a deep midfielder. Mowbray has coached the drive and passion out of him to an extent. I think Travis is best marauding his way round the centre of the pitch, winning the ball and getting forward. There's a lot more to his game than just being the pivot (LOL). Rothwell is possibly wanting out so I'd go with Buckley and Travis in front of a proper disciplined DM. I'd like actually to see a diamond next season, with Dack at the head of it when fit and two up front. It's workable if your full backs can get forward and supply the width. Pickering looks to be very attacking and JRC/Nyambe could do the same on the other side.
  7. I'm looking forward to Bento Breroneuva scoring the winner in the World Cup, mainly for the next level smugness from Mowbrinho😉
  8. Ooof, that burst past a defender and the pass for AA's goal. Liquid football. Lovely hair too. 💘
  9. He's playing there until he can learn the striker role from BB.
  10. The topic's England. We were discussing something that happened at the game.
  11. It was good to see and hear the dickheads who were booing the players taking a knee being drowned out by applause.
  12. Blackburn Rovers already know their perfect Armstrong replacement but face transfer obstacles - LancsLive He sounds like he's happy there.
  13. Ex-Charlton Athletic man Lyle Taylor in Nottingham Forest limbo as surprise transfer decision reported - The 72 Lyle Taylor on loan rumour.
  14. Arturo Vidal in hospital with Covid according to reports. Lets hope BB is ok.
  15. We don't hold all the cards. He'll be sold for a lot less in January '22, and nowt next summer.
  16. It says in the LT article Rovers will 'hold out' for £20m...and then a bit later 'at least' £20m.
  17. In fairness, the wording of the minutes doesn't make that clear at all. So, who was involved in the discussion to keep him? Just the owners? Or did Pasha and Waggott have input too? Also what was the reasoning behind letting Mowbray continue?
  18. Confused by your confusion. The article clearly states:- However, it remains likely that the 24-year-old will move on this summer, with the Daily Express reporting that Southampton are stepping up their pursuit and are preparing a £15m bid.
  19. That might be sour grapes because he's removed the fact he's a Pompey player from his twitter account and has effectively said he's off. The Pompey media seem to think the club will only sell for the right price. Transfer update over Portsmouth assets as Cardiff and Blackburn eye Ronan Curtis with Reading and Derby County linked | The News But, when it comes to Curtis, Pompey aren’t prepared to take a hit when it comes to selling the former Derry City man when he’s contracted until the summer of 2023.
  20. Barnes and Pike look good too. Lots of talent coming through the Academy. Thank god for Jack's legacy.
