  1. You might need new eyes. Anyway, enjoy legitimising the regime that tried to sell off Jack's legacy for housing. #DigDeepForWaggott
  2. Is it a big fan base? About same pop. as Preston. Only been once to watch Rovers, sometime in early 80's so genuinely don't know the crowds they are capable of getting. Always like them as a club though, for no obvious reason. Might go back to them beating Arsenal in the FA Cup.
  3. AA's movement is very underappreciated, as is his pace. His finishing needs to improve, but it's his movement and pace that gets him the chances. Very few, even in the Prem, have what AA has in that regard. He can also smack them in the from 25 yards because his technique is excellent. Everton and WHU would be getting a quality player who can only get better. And another thing in his favour is a lot of Prem teams defend high up the pitch these days. He's incredibly dangerous when huge spaces are left for him to run into.
  4. Not under Mowbray and his possession-based bollocks. JR needs players who can cross the ball to him, not pass it back 40 yards when in a crossing position.
  5. A small selection of posters might say that, and they may say it quite often, but I very much doubt the vast majority of posters on here are that deluded.
  6. Ah right, I didn't read the full tweet convo. So someone has read it on here and asked Nixon for confirmation.
  7. I knew I'd read 'end of May' somewhere, it's just quite amusing Nixon is using the same timeframe🙄
  8. Was it not you that put on here he's be gone by the end of the month. Either you @Manior @oldjamfan1? Nixon is basically just repeating what he's read on here isn't he?
  9. Oh right, thought I'd missed something. It was stated as a fact.
  10. We're letting Rothwell go? Thought we'd triggered his contract extension?
  11. You should enjoy the full discount and not get one😉
  12. Todays LT:- Indeed, Raya could yet be the biggest goalkeeping story of the summer once again, with Rovers waiting on a possible Premier League move for the Spaniard that would see a sell-on clause activated. Alternatively, should Brentford reach the top-flight themselves, there is a promotion clause within the deal that took Raya to the capital, and help push the initial £3m fee closer to the £5m maximum.
  13. I've only seen a few of the U23 games this season that have been on YouTube. There are 3 or 4 players that regularly stand out but McBride hasn't been one of them. Probably not quite ready. Nuttall's not done much at Blackpool. League 2 may be his level.
  14. Agreed. It is fine, I haven't said it isn't. Whether there will be dissatisfaction voiced is another matter. I don't remember saying you're not a real supporter if you buy a ST? But if you do buy one the club will see it as an endorsement of their stewardship of the club.
  15. He's no use to Rovers sat on the bench. If he's given a chance and isn't good enough then fair enough. But he hasn't had a chance.
  16. His comments gave me the impression he wants to play football and he will go wherever he's allowed to do that. Quite a refreshing attitude to be fair.
