  1. If you don't like shots, excitement or goalmouth action then, yeah, classic.
  2. Pep has absolutely Mowbrayed Citeh with his 'false 9' bollocks. Get a striker or two on the pitch FFS! Meanwhile, somewhere in Porto, John Terry is getting his kit on.
  3. I think it was in the LT or LL the other week that it was £3m initially with a promotion bonus taking it to £5m.
  4. We'll be due another £2m from the Raya deal if it continues like this. That's a third of a BB, or a full AA (and a bit more).
  5. Au contraire. He left to join a bigger club with more ambition.
  6. 9 free-agents who Blackburn Rovers should have on their transfer radar and why | Page 8 | Football League World Players available on a free. Always thought Alex Prichard was quality and still only 27. Mowatt has had a good season or two and only 26. Jack Wilshere can fill the vacancy in the Vince Ayala suite.
  7. Plymouth Argyle were the latest EFL club to move away from iFollow and the EFL’s digital platform in favour of creating their own website in unison with Other Media and StreamAMG. Blackburn Rovers to launch new club website and streaming service with iFollow replaced - LancsLive I suppose it depends who Rovers are 'in unison' with.
  8. Blackburn Rovers to launch new club website and streaming service with iFollow replaced - LancsLive Blackburn Rovers are to unveil an updated digital service that will include a new official website and streaming service. Rovers are to move away from the traditional EFL Digital website and introduce a new design that is to be more accessible and engaging with supporters. As part of the new digital service Rovers will also be navigating away from the iFollow system, with the club's video service now changing to RoversTV, with supporters encouraged to register with the new system once the website starts up on Tuesday 1st June.
  9. Incorrect. The home team kept all the money from passes sold via it's own website, and all the money from the first 500 tickets sold on the away teams website. My guess is the the reason for doing this is that by opting out of the EFL ifollow scheme that Rovers can now keep all the money from match streams at Ewood, no matter where they are bought and by which team. But it's only a guess.
  10. So, regardless of Covid and the ground being open, Rovers can now sell digital match passes to a million Leeds fans (for example) for a game at Ewood and get all the money?
  11. So will Rovers now get the money for all the away fans because RoversTV is the only place the away fans can buy a match pass to watch their team at Ewood?
  12. There's certainly a place for data science in football. And that place is it's own thread that I don't need to bother reading. Thank you.
  13. But closer than the manager you backed to the hilt, who you now want out.
  14. Yeah, that'll be it. 🙄 Precisely. There's nowt happening. 👍
  15. A lot I'd imagine. He was interviewed soon after that and you could tell he was gutted about the reception. Shearer, Sir Kenny and Sir Jack were our Holy Trinity.
  16. Mowbray had a young team at Cov I think which started like a house on fire and was doing well up to Christmas then fell apart in the 2nd half of the season. Season after he got sacked after not winning any of the fist ten games. Here's hoping for the sacking part...
  17. Interesting that our possession % has increased quite markedly since 18/19 but the % of our forward passes compared to 18/19 has dropped. We just have more of the ball these days and do about the same with it as when we played long to DG. Don't agree with the comments on the 'Results v Performances' page. How is it 'draconian' to base football decisions on anything other than results, especially if those results have barely changed over 3 years? The AA stats confirm the view that he shoots from distance a lot because we create so few 'easy' chances for him in the box. He basically has to do it himself. Makes his 28 goals all the more remarkable. We're shit at set-pieces. Fact! The most startling stat is results of games when we've been in the Top 10 in the last 3 years. 26 games played - only 3 wins! Absolute bottlers!! Anyway, good read. cheers.
  18. Probably only if:- AA signs a new contract and AA states he won't move even if a Prem team come in for him. OR AA wants to see out his contract to give himself more options next summer, even though Rovers are desperate to sell him cos they'll get nowt in a years time.
  19. Crewe Alex boss resigned to losing key man amid Championship interest - Cheshire Live (cheshire-live.co.uk) 24 next month so no compensation for Crewe I'd imagine. That will be right up Waggott's street. Other Champ clubs in for him so we might be one of them. I'd imagine Sharpe knows Rovers have an interest.
  20. That's pretty much exactly what Waggott said after the Oxford game. You think along similar lines, whilst missing the point entirely. How many turned up at the FMC final? People turn up to see success at every club in the world. Rovers are no different. That still doesn't mean genuine fans who have watched more games than you ever will haven't walked away in disgust. Maybe they just have higher standards than you and can't bear seeing the club and Jack's legacy being systematically destroyed.
  21. You are legitimising the regime by financially supporting it. True fans that bleed blue and white won't support the destruction of Jack's legacy (see I can do the emotive BS too) Lots of fans have walked away over the last ten years. Fans that have probably watched more Rovers games than you, home and away. You aren't special.
