  1. Since when have Birmingham City been more than a Cat C? It's obvious what the tactic is here. Fleece the expected large away following, but sod trying to attract any home support. They are not fit for purpose.
  2. That can't be right. What about 'The Project?' 🀣
  3. There didn't appear to be any safe standing at either end on Saturday.
  4. I thought we played quite well yesterday, it was an enjoyable game. Beyond the starting eleven plus a couple of others who were missing, the squad is so thin though. They seriously need to get some more experience in there. A couple of injuries to key players - which is bound to happen at some point - and we'll be in Dicky's meadow.
  5. You would hope that it will be free parking for 30 mins or so, but you never know with this lot. Whenever I've been to the club shop on non match days before, I've never paid. Nor was I aware that I needed to if that was the case.
  6. I've just had an email from the club about the car park facilities at the ground. Looking at the parking info on the web site, it's Β£15 per game. FIFTEEN QUID!!!!! It also appears that they're going to charge on non-match days.... On non-match days, the car park will remain open to visitors. Non-match day rates apply and are displayed clearly on signage throughout the car park. Hopefully, complete madness hadn't taken over their minds, and we can still park for free for a while whilst we pop down to collect tickets, or visit the shop (assuming that it's actually open).
  7. I posted somewhere else on this, but from where I was sat at Accrington, it looked Carter had pulled his hamstring to me.
  8. We were on the 'Accy' side of the centre circle. I noticed Carter pull up, then a few moments later he was feeling the back of his thigh so I thought 'hamstring' straight away. My daughter said the same. Hopefully just a twinge though. We also noticed the horses near the away entrance. Perhaps there for traffic control, I dunno, but their presence looked a bit odd considering the low key occasion.
  9. 'We've got a little fat guy who'll turn him inside out'. Classic Cloughie quote in reference to Robertson.
  10. I was in line behind him. It looked to me that he was feeling his hamstring.
  11. Montgomery got up the pitch well, but his final ball was poor I thought.
  12. Similarly John Robertson at Forest.
  13. The one thing which will cause the fanbase to vent is results on the pitch. We were close to that situation last season, until Ismael got a few results towards the end to divert attentions. Looking at the state of the squad, it could go south fairly quickly into the new season.
  14. The website is naff still, took me a while to find them just now. Click 'Single tickets' then 'Men's away matches'
  15. Should be announced today then, in that case.
  16. Exactly. All this nonsense about interviews and cameras in dressing rooms, it's the thin end of the wedge, IMO.
  17. As I said, "simply for 'benefit' of the armchair dwelling , non-match going ,TV viewing 'fan'." As is every supposed 'improvement' they seem to make. We are not even an afterthought.
  18. Yeah, so simply for 'benefit' of the armchair dwelling , non-match going ,TV viewing 'fan'. Whether that be Sky, BeIn or whoever and whereever on they planet they reside.. All the while, the oft ignored, true match going supporter, gets ripped off ever more.
  19. Cameras in the dressing room? That'll go down well when we've just lost 2-0 at home on a Tuesday night in January. Designed purely for the supposed benefit of the Sky fraternity. Gimmickry nonsense.
  20. Yeah sorry, it was meant as a dig at the club, in the I hope that they did chuffin' well go and see him live!
  21. Surely they watched several games of him live and in the flesh though, before splurging the majority of our budget.....πŸ€”
  22. Ultimately, we should simply judge them on how well they run the club both on and off the pitch. And we all know the answer to that.
  23. These aquaintances of yours who you say 'support' both Rovers and Stanley. What would they do if say Rovers played Stanley in a cup tie? 'Support' both teams? Wear half-and-half scarves? Hope for a draw?
