  1. Yeah keeping him around to maybe get some form of return off him even if just financially, isn't the worst idea. Surely he's nowhere near the standard we need. But I'd of said the same about Wharton this time last year.
  2. That's actually a great point πŸ˜‚ as bad as the owners are. Any manager coming in, knows they can go on as bad a run as we did after Christmas and not get sacked.
  3. Whatever I think of his reign overall. That year in league one was brilliant, with some great away days. As a manager for me though, he was bang average. A stubborn man, who clearly felt he'd earnt the right to stick by players/systems that didn't work. The majority of his signings varied from decent to brilliant. With very few poor signings in the five years. I think personally he should've gone the end of last season but here we are. The next manager is a massive appointment and could hopefully be the catalyst that wakes this sleeping giant of a club. Equally it could set us back and we'd be clamouring for Tony to help. but let's not think like that πŸ˜‚
  4. Dyche will work for sky sports and go watch the clone roses, until someone is struggling in the prem next Christmas then go there keep them up.
  5. Could see Carter and Wharton being our two main central defenders next season. Carter had a pretty decent loan spell at pompey unless we bring someone more experienced in. Not sure lenihan will stay, surely he can get more money at bigger club in the championship.
  6. I was saying this watching it. You don't gain anything by wasting time and trying to run the clock down. Especially with a jumped up little ref like yesterday. He'd sooner play way more than whatever time was wasted to prove a point.
  7. Yeah we're fucking dog shit. Only things to look forward to, hopefully mowbray gone and Burnley down.
  8. Terrible first half just glad they scored when they did and forced his hand. If we would've gone in 0-0, he'd of hung on and waited until we conceded. The lads came out looking fired up and that's as good of a half as we've seen all season.
  9. Gallagher is due a good game. 1-0 rovers πŸ˜…
  10. Yeah we seemed back to our defensive best against west brom. Just need to start scoring now which given the next two home games surely we should be able to do. I think once one goes in a few will follow. The fact is we've played well and lost two of our last three. Of that's as bad of a dip as we have I'll be happy.
  11. If we can keep doing well at home and dack brings a few goals, then just inside the play offs. Which at the beginning of the season none of us would of expected. Then it's a lottery from there.
  12. I fancy us against any tram at ewood and tonight will be no different. Hopefully they don't play aswell as they did against Sunday and we aren't as wasteful as against Swansea. I think as soon as they had a man sent off and we were expected to have the ball and move it around we looked lost. If anything it played into their hands. We are much better breaking on teams rather than keeping possession. Even still the fact we had so many clear cut chances and didnt take any was ridiculous. We were much better than say the Hull game so I'm not too worried. Hopefully we get the same amount of chances and can actually take a couple.
  13. Always give us a chance at ewood but yeah they looked brilliant yesterday. Hopefully it took it out if them and we can get the odd goal. Unrelated but how shite is Scott Parker as a manager.
  14. Ayala starts up top at Swansea then.
  15. I think pickering has shown glimpses of what he's capable of. Hopefully a bit of competition helps him develop.
  16. Decent signings by Bournemouth but surely the number of them, shows he isn't happy with his squad and how they are playing. We played them off the park not long back and their result's have been poor. It smacks of desperation to me. We have made and need maybe a couple more smart signings. Giles would be a start and would calm everyone down a bit πŸ˜…
  17. I've just drove past Josh Maja at the farthings pub.
  18. Yeah Giles and zeefuik/nyambe at wing back would be superb. Even if it meant nyambe covering at centre back. We still need a striker and cover in midfield for me. It's time to shit or bust. I'd rather get fucked by ffp and all that comes with it then let this chance slip. Not my money l know πŸ˜‚
  19. Bournemouth may come back knowing we now have an unsettled player. They need to throw everything at going back up. I know they have decent backing but that premiership money will he drying up. Lets face it they are a small club with adequate facilities, a small stadium with a smaller fan base. Without the parachute payment and backing they are league one standard at best.
  20. I think we've covered our back here by not throwing him under the bus. It's all speculation so far that he refused to play/demanded a move. If it comes out at the end of the season and we go up, I couldn't care less let him walk for free. Get out of him what we can, what we've invested three season's into him.
  21. Hope we can sign this matt Giles lad from wolves. One question though, if he was doing so well and aying regularly for Cardiff why was he recalled?
