surprised that Neill hasn't been mentioned so far.....probably his best season in a rovers shirt to date......but i'll still go for Nelson...with Bellamy a close second

BBC is reporting that its now between McClaren and O'Neill....i would go for O'Neill personally....but if this is true i think the F.A have just about got it right....for once! Also reports that sponsors want guarantees that Becks will remain as captain.....lets hope the F.A stand firm because if i was the next manager the first thing i would do would be to drop that over rated primadonna!

the fact that Barca and Milan are in the other half of the CL draw to Arsenal is a good things for the other teams chasing 4th spot. i fully expect arsenal to get to the final.... but i think either of the above mentioned teams will be too strong for them (i hope so anyway!!) hopefully this run will distract them from the job at hand in the premiership and we can capitalise on that! One things for sure....its going to be nerve wracking!!

5-0 ARSE....not the worst day for rovers though!!!

Well if my BBC predictor is anything to go by rovers are gonna walk it....my final table had rovers in 4th with 72points, a whopping 12 points ahead of Arsenal in 5th!!! The most surprising bit is that everton are 6th while bolton are 11th and west ham 13th!!! I think something is not quite right here! The big club still finish in the bottom three though!!

i'm not too sure Bellamy has the same level of ability as those players though

i dont know why a lot of people on here take it so personally when opposition fans have a go at our attendances. Most of us go to Ewood week in week out so what else can we do?! At the end of the day when fans from other clubs have a go at the falling attendances at rovers it doesnt bother me because i'm still going week in week out and have been doing so since before uncle jack got involved. its not the football club's fault because under Souness we played some of the most entertaining football ive seen at Ewood...not always the right result but entertaining nonetheless, and also have some of the lowest ticket prices in the league. its a reflection of how fickle fans are in the northwest....i for one do not beleive we are as passionate (on the whole) about our football as other areas. instead of criticism, the club should be commended for providing a team that has been so competative in this league irrespective of the income we receive through gate receipts. People can say what they want but when was the last time City, Spurs or any of the other so called 'big clubs' did anything? its not attendances that define a football club its how the team performs on the pitch, and in this respect rovers have had a bigger impact than most teams in the league, not only since the league began but also since we came back up! Oh and Marvin, do City sell out every week?

Scoring 7 goals in the last three matches has prompted Lawro to omit his favourite rovers catchphrase....'i just cant see where the goals are going to come from'. The guys a class A t!t...if his predictions were right this season then rovers would be bottom by long way! a convincing 3-1. with Bellamy continuing his fine goalscoring form. Jay Bothroyd for them just for old times sake

why Dickov?

The way that rovers have been playing recently we're going to stick a few past someone sooner or later....i would absolutely love it to be on sat against such a big club with the world watching! If Bellamy is back fit then i'm going for a 3-0 victory with the welsh connection doing the biz....Bellamy (2) and sav for good measure!

i think Bentley should be given a start after impressing on sunday.....dunno who he will partner though Kuqi or Jansen with Bellamy on the bench. If we play 4-5-1 this week then i might cry!

i dont think the defender bottled it for tugays goal but rather didnt have time to react!

wouldnt be suprised to see a straight swap between The Axe and Tugay....although we are at home Spurs are a totally different kettle of fish to Fulham. Not gonna make a prediction but it'l probably be tight with one goal in it.

Kuqi's touch will improve as he's working with better coaches.....for the record i felt he did better up front on his own, and created more chances than Dickov did at any stage ast season.

i think everyone is being a bit too negative following the opening match....its very unlikely that rovers will play that bad again...nevermind two weeks running. im going for a 4-5-1 and a 3-0 victory with Kuqi opening his premiership account.

it was always going to be difficult today against a newly promoted team. but it is only the first game and i think Hughes will get it sorted but will be interesting to see the formation at home next week. On a positive...maybe this will prompt the board to put their hands in their pockets and fund some more signings which are obviously needed for this formation to work! How many times have we lost on the opening day? cant remember any.

i think this would be a good time to play the 4-5-1 formation......frustrate them and then hit them with Bellamy and Pedersen out wide. even if we play 442 i still think we'll with...im gfoing for a shock 0-3 to the rovers providing Bellamy is fit!
