Under JDT we were win-lose. Under useless we are draw-lose. It's absolutely disgusting the mentality around this club. We sold our keeper for a pittance and he wasn't replaced. Yes we bought Leo but he was never a straight replacement as he's young and foreign so will take time to adjust to the English game. Unfortunately he got thrown in at the deep end and made a lot of costly mistakes. Pears is ok but always has a howler in him. He's a good number 13 but not a number 1. I'm actually not that bothered about getting relegated. I walked away years ago and will not return until venkys are gone. I am not alone in that. Soon enough it will only be the happy clappers remaining and they will have everything they deserve as the club scratches round the bottom of division four awaiting the inevitable drop into none league. I'm sure it won't be the fault of venkys though.

I think I know what you mean by that. I wish I'd have gone for pinstripes now but I bottled it and went for black. Also, when I get that time machine fired up I'll let myself know that getting measure for a suit when you're 20 and weigh about 70kg isn't great forward planning. Thankfully my choices in guitars were more insightful.

A fair comparison I feel. Both also had to deal with players having tantrums and causing trouble. This was the main downfall with Hodgson, the training was hard and regimented and senior players started to kick off and cause trouble. In both instances these things were preexisting but a run of bad results brought them to the surface. Hodgson was given a fortune to spend and he spent it very poorly, JDT was undermined and constantly had the club working against him. I'm sure that JDT, like Hodgson will go on to have a long and successful career and we'll be looking back thinking what could have been. Both were the right man at the wrong time.

Doesn't matter what he's sold for not a single penny will be reinvested. Hopefully he gets a move to a Prem side and he smashes it. He's probably the only player on our books that deserves ank kind of respect. He's a class act and needs to get the fuck away from this shit show and go to a proper club.
