Absolutely managed decline. Deliberately reduce the fanbase to as low as you can then when the deliberate relegation to League One happens, as a League One club will be cheaper to run, there won't be too much upheaval. The goal this year is to just about survive that way when we go down next year it doesn't look too suss. Its all about keeping the attention away from the owners whilst they downgrade the club even more.

Its very difficult to judge the Egg given the circumstances. Last season he came in halfway through the summer window and January was a disaster but how much of that was down to him I'm not sure. Given the many other examples of the owners meddling in transfers, the most likely explanation is that they put a stop to the deals then the club started spinning a load of lies to cover this up. This season the budget was slashed halfway through the window seemingly without warning. Ennis has been a poor signing so far but would he have been signed if we'd have known the financial constraints that would be imposed on us later on? We really need a proper striker. Not happening with our budget. Leo is a development signing that's been thrown in at the deep end, we really need a proper number 1. Not going to happen on our budget. The Egg is a company man therefore will always come out with some good spin to try and paint this dog shit situation in a positive light. I'll reserve full judgement until we have a proper transfer window but given its venkys fc who the fuck knows when that will ever happen.

They haven't shown any balls at all. The digital day was a total disaster and they have done a last minute U turn in a fleeting attempt to try and save face. They should have come out and apologised well over a week ago now and got this issue sorted. They are not fit for purpose, any of them. The only thing that we should be working towards is getting the for sale sign up above the door.

Granted, the future without them is uncertain. Who knows what might happen. One thing that is clear is that venkys are strangling the life out of this club. There is a massive downgrade in process so that when we get relegated to league one next year or the year after the spotlight will be away from the owners. I'm not going to start rattling off the multitude of clubs that have been bought and sold over the last few years, that has been done to death. It is a total none argument. I am hoping that the court case (conveniently scheduled for the END of January) will end up in funds not being sent and we end up in administration. Administration may not be great but it allows us to move forward.

Here we go again, the 2024 F.A. Cup. As the club have once again stuck two fingers up in the face of long standing loyal fans its looking like there may be more Cambridge fans there than Rovers.
