  1. Absolutely nothing like the 80s. Back in the 80s the club had ambition to be more that just about surviving. It was just in a struggling position. Now the club is deliberately in this position and looking to deliberately go down to the next league so it can be run even cheaper.
  2. He might also be in a position where he as to pay out his contract to quit. There has to be a breaking point with him. I have no idea how he's managed to tolerate the absolute dog shit of a club that he's working for. JDT has been lied to from day one.
  3. There's been so much strangeness and at times a total inversion of reality over the last 13 years. I still think one of the strangest has to be how Tony Mowbray, a man with less personality than a pile of rotting sea weed, had such a massive personality cult amongst the fan base. I don't think I'll ever not be completely baffled by that one.
  4. Every single defunct club has been reformed in one way or another. Except the ones that dropped out in 1899 or whatever but I just looked at the ones that went out recently.
  5. Administration. One hundred percent.
  6. Yes I'm not sure how anyone can have a strong opinion about a coach unless it's an open secret that they are totally useless. But he seems to get a lot of praise from former players. I don't have a fucking clue about whether any of our coaches are any good or not. I can have an opinion on a player, I get to see them. Probably a lot to do with him not being a professional player himself. It's also very strange that the new manager HAD to take him and the other fella. But hey, this is venky FC so why should anything be a surprise.
  7. Absolutely nothing would surprise me at this club
  8. He's cheap and he doesn't ask questions. That's the only way anyone can get a job at Rovers.
  9. Wizard - I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day
  10. With all the off the field carnage I think most are expecting this. I mean, we've loaned out the club captain to avoid paying his wages. What else should we be expecting? Total destruction from the top down is what is going on here.
  11. Administration is not ideal by any stretch of the imagination but if it means the end of venky FC then I'll take it. The only certainty we have is that as long as venkys are around this club will continue to wither and die a slow painful death. It's more likely venkys will be the end of this club than administration. I'm more than willing to roll that dice.
  12. Mowbray above the egg and it's about right.
  13. This is the highlight of the season so far.
  14. It was a strange appointment. Binning off the gurning chump was what I would expect a club with ambition to do but to replace him with this Mon is a real head scratcher. At least the moggasaurus has an actual track record in this division, what has Beale ever done?
  15. If this post doesn't win the day then I think this website should be shut down forever. Absolute. Fucking. Genius.
  16. Protests are a good thing as it raises attention to our situation and most importantly, raises attention on the owners which is something they really don't want. The best thing we can do is keep the spotlight on them. Shine a light on every dark corner of their world.
  17. After 13 years we know that nothing is ever going to improve.
  18. Doesn't look rushed and looks classy.
  19. That logo is absolutely brilliant. First rate job there. 👍

  21. More like suitcases.
  22. Just for the record and so some of our sheep shagger visitors don't get mixed up here. Jack Walker was from Blackburn. He built his business in Blackburn. My dad worked there, my uncle worked there and about 5 other people who have been a big part of my life from the day I was born all worked there. Jack and his brother sold the business and Jack decided to put his money that was made in Blackburn by the people of Blackburn back into Blackburn. He was one of us and did what probably most of us who are regulars here on BRFCS would do were we in such a fortunate position. Some dickhead Americans that don't know how to spell or some genocide committing oil state or some billionaire tycoons buying a football club to stroke their own ego, add to their portfolio or deflect attention away from their numerous crimes against humanity and the planet is in absolutely no way what so ever comparable to what Jack Walker did for Blackburn Rovers. Don't you ever forget it.
  23. And here is the club stenographer right on cue.
