  1. Luton's manager only took over in Nov 22
  2. Edwards ready for an 'intense atmosphere' when Town head to Ewood Park | Luton Today Don't let him down lads and lasses! Gerrin-to-em
  3. I like Gally. You take Gally's name out your filthy mouth😉
  4. We've won 1 of our last 9 games after looking a racing certainty to get in the play-offs. I'm sure you can understand there may be a sense of frustartion? And why would I enjoy today if we lose? That's a loser's mentality.
  5. No idea, ring the ticket office, it's open from 12 today.
  6. The spirit of 92, for the boys in blue
  7. Thanks. So we'd need to sell about 1500 more ST's at £250 a pop than they have to bridge the 400k gap. Piece of piss at those prices! Or bridge the gap by not having to hire expensive lawyers because we can't send off player registration forms in time!
  8. 9K ST's x £400 = £3.6m 14K ST's x £250 = £3.5m I think Bolton and Preston got close to 14k ST holders so the difference, based on those averages, is negligible.
  9. In a nutshell. Unfortunately, it's a very short-sighted approach. What happened to the 'build a club' mantra him and his chum Tony used to spout? Ask him what the difference in revenue was between Rovers, Preston and Bolton next time you see him if you would. He should know the exact amounts.
  10. Haha, I thought it was quite funny! A blondie is a cake. That was the joke. Tough crowd.
  11. Those blondies look delicious...as do their cakes.
  12. And that's the rub sadly. That's all he cares about. Be interesting to know what the difference is in revenue.
  13. And? What's that got to do with you flogging AW for a paltry (poultry) £20m??
  14. Swag wants max income. Fans want max atmosphere/min price. If you Venn diagram that conundrum there would be very little overlap. Be interesting to know who generated more income from ST's this season - Bolton, Preston or Rovers?
  15. Pity you don't pay attention to them when putting your bets on😉
  16. But apart from that...😉 I think he's done ok this season, the most assists with 6 and has scored 4 goals (same as Dack, Hedges and one less than SS)
  17. Ignoring for a second that most of that £20m will just be swallowed up by the club's running costs, why would you sell AW for only £20m when he's on a 5 year contract? Phil Jones was sold for £17m in 2011 and I'd be using that plus the last 12 years player inflation as a starting position. B'ham got done with the Bellingham price, even though they got close to £30m...3 years later he's going to fetch closer to £130m. Apparently Brum have only got a 5% sell-on. Clubs can start the bidding at £40m for Wharton, with a 20% sell-on...and he gets a new X-box every 6 months as part of that deal.
  18. There wouldn't be much to look forward to watching if we sold him.
  19. Klopp did the same celebrating Liverpool's winner.
  20. I like Dolan's enthusiasm, but he lacks quality with his final ball. He's not a No9 or No10. Probably been most effective in BBD's position.
  21. Ian Clarke, the vice-chair of the Fulham supporter’s trust, says the blanket increase in the other stands is causing the biggest consternation. “Not every Fulham fan lives locally with a nice apartment overlooking the river. Fans have been coming for generations. Our catchment area spreads down the M3, all the way to Surrey,” says Clarke, who has been supporting Fulham for 50 years. “There’s room for all, the Riverside Stand provides some fantastic opportunities to sell high-priced hospitality experiences and bring the revenue in, we just need them to remember that the grassroots fans aren’t necessarily the ones with the extra cash. “We want the club to be sustainable. We don’t want the ground to be full of short-term visitors, who can afford to pay, but won’t stick around with the club.”
  22. I think Spurs have given up. Kane and Son will possibly want to leave in the summer. There's not much left after that of any real quality. Conte was obviously doing a far better job than he was given credit for. He got a lot of stick from the football purists for the style of football, but what Spurs fans are now watching is the alternative. Careful what you wish for etc
