  1. I'd buy a 12 match ST cos I can only get to about 12 home games a season, due to SKY changing KO times and night matches which I can't usually get to . But they'd prefer me to get a full ST or buy individual match tickets because that means more revenue for them. So your fan-friendly, and logical idea, will sadly never happen.
  2. 'I didn't care, it wasn't my car' πŸ™‚ Funny man is Kenny! Glad they eventually buried the hatchet.
  3. Waggott won't change, as others have said. He has a target to meet, and if means fewer fans paying more money to meet that target then so be it. He doesn't care either way. The sooner he fucks off the better.
  4. Him and Sutton haven't made up then πŸ™‚ I wonder what started the animosity?
  5. Luton have been on a phenomenal run. Their last 10 away matches: W5 D5 L0 G12 GA5 No defeats and only 5 goals conceded in 10 away games. I'm sticking my neck out here and saying we might struggle to score πŸ€”
  6. Was he not flapping in no-mans-land for the opener against Hudds? And the 2nd easily beat him. He doesn't have a lot to do as we defend well, yet he doesn't do a lot. Can't think of many saves that have stood out.
  7. Maybe a bit harsh, but having watched it a couple of times it looks like poor keeping. I don't think Pears is particularly good, he's just not been chucking them in his own net like TK was for a few matches before he went out of the side. On the other hand Pears has never won us a match with his keeping. TK has won us quite a few.
  8. It is indeed, I think Cov and one other. Then again Cov could lose to B'ham. It's impossible to call. What odds would you get on betting Rovers and Coventry to make the PO's?
  9. Will Luton rest a few of their better players to keep them fresh for the play-offs? I think we'll actually win this one and keep our play-off dream alive! 1-0 (Hyam howitzer from a yard out)
  10. REMAINING FIXTURES: Coventry: B'ham (h) Boro (a) S'land: Watford (h) PNE (a) Millwall: B'pool (a) Rovers (h) Rovers: Luton (h) Millwall (a) WBA: Norwich (h) Swansea (a) PNE: Sheff Utd (a) S'land (h) Norwich: WBA (a) B'pool (h) Swansea: Hull (a) WBA (h) Twists and Turns πŸ™‚
  11. Two match threads @Herbie6590, must be a biggie
  12. Thank god for that, I'd hate to think of you suffering πŸ˜‰
  13. Do you get know or get the impression that: a) GB and JDT have fallen out? b) JDT will walk away this summer?
  14. We can agree our set-pieces are utter shite. This will be the only thing we ever agree onπŸ˜‰
  15. I don't know if we ever filled the set-piece specialist job we advertised a few months ago. If we did then he needs to up his game. According to Sharpe in the LT today we are the second worst in the division for goals scored from set-pieces....we have 7....Millwall have scored 23.
  16. Nope, that issue on the relegation clause was sorted an hour before deadline. It's all in the report.
  17. I was talking about relative ability rather than style of play. Dunn played for England. AW certainly looks to have similar potential. As for a comparison, AW reminds me a bit of Gordon Cowans, the Cowans at Villa in his pomp. He has that same languid classy style, but I think Wharton is better at running with ball.
  18. Memories fade.....is Wharton better than Dunn was at 18? Dunn had just broken into Rovers 1st team in the Prem at the same age.
  19. Yep, Aberdeen sacked the manager who wanted DM a day or two before DM turned up. The new manager allowed the transfer to go through but obviously doesn't rate him or doesn't play wingers in his system.
  20. Who were the other players? Is that Sylvester? Why won't he be fired?
  21. Who were the others? And who is therefore at fault if this is endemic?
  22. As you have said to others, I suggest you educate yourself on what actually went on. The EFL confirmed that agreement was reached on the 'irrelevant' question a whole hour before the deadline. The deadline was still missed. It was a non-issue. It was only brought up by the club as a smokescreen.
  23. 'The nerve'. Good grief. Easy thing to do is taking responsibility when there are no repercussions. The recruitment is in disarray. It was better run under Venus. At least he could send forms off. Broughton out!
