Leeds look doomed, they get battered most weeks. Their next two games are Man city and Newcastle. -

Do you have confidence in GB that it can be done? -

So Morton wasn't a good loan because he wasn't what we needed, and he was played instead of players we own who are better. Thomas has done the square root of nowt...backed up by the fact he's been dropped. Two average signings at best. -

Nixon came up with the Rovers cut-backs story last summer too. -

Is that the Nixon story? -

On GB's success rate in the transfer market: Szmodics and Hyam - both have been good signings. (8/10) Brittain - may be a good signing if he remains injury free and can get in the team (6/10) Morton - average and possibly not suited to the Championship (5/10) Thomas - started off well but quickly regressed (5/10) Mola, Hirst - poor signings (3/10) Add to this the January transfer debacle and his failure over 2 windows to bring in the striker we've desperately needed, and I think he has a lot of work to do this summer to prove he deserves the role he's in. On the plus side he's got the quality Academy lads signed up on long contracts. Huge credit there when it looked like we were going to lose the likes of Phillips. -

We won't get beat tomorrow. Guaranteed. -

Not wishing to be pedantic but that should be 'pedant alert'. 😁 But you're right, we could make the play-offs with a win and a draw, as long as the win is against Millwall. -

Not after Burnley it wasn't. It now is again. -

No, still in our own hands even then. We need to win both games and we're in the PO's ,regardless of what anyone else does. -

As Chaddy says, the only way we can get in the play-offs is to win both our games. At least we control our own destiny. -

Agent Mogga didn't let us down. Beat Luton and it's all up for grabs. -
I think it was Vale that came out before Christmas and said that all the strikers were essentially re-learning their position because of the demands JDT placed on them. Like you, I think Vale looks a good finisher. It's just he looks a yard off the pace all the time. Maybe that's confidence and/or fitness and something a good pre-season can sort out.

It's the hope that kills you, as has been said so many times! But you're right, there are no guarantees Cov or S'land will get wins today. Last night was a bad result, it may even prove to be decisive when it all pans out. Obviously this is all predicated on us beating Luton. It really is Operation Must-Win Part 1! -

Be interesting to see where Burns ends up (appears he's already been told he's being released). At 20 he needs to be playing 1st team football.

If S'land and Cov don't win tomorrow and we do on Monday then tonight's game matters because we might only then need a draw at the den to finish above Millwall. -

a draw would be better...a draw may be all we need at the den (probably not, but you never know). -

he's got 10 goals in the last 15 (including tonight) we'd be in the play-offs now if he's scored that many for us. -
Yeah, strange one Burns, he's 20, scoring goals, we've no fit strikers and we need to win games. Him and Leonard should be in the squad for the next 2 games. Maybe Burns just isn't very good at senior level. You'd presume he's trained with the first team and maybe just isn't up to it.
