Championship - 22-23

Supporting a football club is not quite the same as swapping your coffee brand. There is an emotional attachment to Rovers that you just don't quite get with nescafe. I'm surprised anyone can't get their head around that. -

Let's hope we add a dollop of hubris for them to enjoy. -
EFL TV deal: several Championship clubs unhappy with new Sky Sports contract - BBC Sport Previous deal ^ 'Sky can select any game for TV coverage but must show each Championship club at least twice at home. This increases to three times for the final two years of the contract' Have you got a link to where it says clubs have a choice? Leeds were unhappy with the previous deal because they were on 20 times in 2017, just like we were this season. Their owner called for a 'PL2' on the back of it. He did that because they didn't have a choice when their games were put on Sky.

Thoughts on Monday. Are you confident? Seems Bradshaw and Flemming are the main threat to us? -

I think the poor lad's cursed. If his shot at Sheff U in the FA Cup had gone in instead of hitting the inside of the post we'd have gone 3-1 up and had a Wembley semi booked. With hindsight, that was the turning point of our season. -
Between £20k -£100k per match depending on venue/time/day e.g. Rovers would get 100K for a home match on a prime time slot on a prime day (no idea what constitutes prime day/time - but I'm guessing the Saturday night match at home to Hull was close to £100k) or £20k for an away game at a non-prime slot on a non-prime day. You get more for being at home. So even if we say we got the minimum of £20k for every game it's still £400k .... but more likely closer to £1m across 20 games.

Tomasson tells Blackburn Rovers loanee Sorba Thomas to 'pick himself' | Lancashire Telegraph But asked about his absence since, Tomasson explained: “What you are showing in training first, and what you show in games. “You pick yourself, the manager doesn’t pick you, you pick yourself.” Tomasson stressed that Adam Wharton’s improvement in training was behind his return to the side, with the teenager having now started four of the last five matches. Equally, the head coach said Tyler Morton’s performances and application during the week were key to him amassing 46 appearances before his season was cut short by injury. He's being consistent. If the players are too stupid to get the message they deserve not to play. -

Why Sorba Thomas isn't starting for Blackburn Rovers as Jon Dahl Tomasson makes training claim - LancsLive Sorba not doing it in training so not getting picked.. Same as Garrett and A Wharton. You'd just train like the manager wants if you really wanted to play. Fuck him off back to Yarkshire,. -

We did, and Hedges chipped the ball into the keeper's arms when clean through. So not the manager's fault at all. -

I'd imagine that's quite an experience. How many times were you verbally abused with the phrase 'Ref, you're a fackin c**t' 🙂 ? And how scared were the Wolves players!? -
Pears/ Kaminski.. summer plans?
Sweaty Gussets replied to NeilInBristol's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Is it a fact TK's downturn in form was due to an injury? He was awful for quite a few matches before Pears took his place. And Pears is very vey average which makes you wonder why TK hasn't got his place back? . Doesn't add up.
