  1. Agreed. They could have sold him last year or the year before if so wished. They kept him on and hoped he would sign another deal for cheap/low wage
  2. From the article today sounds like he has gone... despite rovers putting him in the retained list. Either they love to lie or one side of the club doesn't talk to the other side. Such a farce. He'll be missed...but he probably won't miss the shambles
  3. Fascinating turn of events. Possibly Steve wanted to support the women's and owners didn't? No coincidence the timing of it all
  4. Mate his article is frustrating Makes no sense. It's not even readable. So we have not extended forshaw ? The article suggests we will make a decision later but then says we aren't retaining him
  5. I think we are speculating quite a lot here Yes he is a good player but Chelsea spend so much money whenever they want-I don't think they are linked to this deal. He will go to France for free and they will probably keep him, talent develop him (similar to how Chelsea operate) and sell him on eventually for a larger fee, maybe back to man city after a couple of years. I don't think Chelsea will take him on loan or after a season to avoid paying a small compensation that is quite unlikely based on Chelsea's track record
  6. Why would he stay? He's probably on peanuts and has been a regular. Good injury record. Good championship squad player. He'll probably go to derby where JE will get better out of him like he did this season I'm always sad to see our players who put maximum effort, leave. Yes he doesn't score or assist as many as we expect but we finished 7th which was way above our expectations after last season so I think he's done alright this season
  7. Was he looking like he was waving good bye? Different than the other players after the match?
  8. Blimey. Says it all doesnt it
  9. I'd love a play off Vs Bristol. Time to put it right after last year's embarrassing game
  10. He will be facing his future club in the final I guess. I think he's a natural replacement for rodri
  11. Under rated. Pears ' injured ' and we stop conceding pointless goals and actually win a couple of games
  12. We won't get into playoffs Was never the clubs ambition. Great we won again but we threw the play offs away a couple of months ago already
  13. Good win for the fans Way too little too late in reality. The previous 8 games drew barely enough points and is relegation form. Glad we won but I'm not overly celebrating as this is meaningless with the direction of travel our beloved club is heading in. Glad the players are putting in some effort but our top 6 chances ended a couple of months ago now.
  14. 9 goals this season now. Shame about his injuries.
  15. Agreed. So many good ones on display during the facup earlier this season
  16. Did we deserve to win? I chose to go enjoy the sun than watch us due to the past few performances under this clown
  17. Do we believe everything that comes out of the club? I don't trust them lot Siggy apparently injured with us all season but is playing now Anyway. Pears needs to be dropped and sold asap
  18. So pears has been linked to utd Great! He's been dropped today? Or " Injured"? Great!
  19. Rovers decided to restructure their youth set-up in the summer, with Jones focusing on the pathway for emerging talent, aged 17-21, and Paul Gray focusing on the younger age groups. Jones had a six-month notice period meaning he will leave in the summer. Rovers have not identified a replacement and Gestede hinted they would look to appoint from within, with Gray an obvious front-runner. "I think he saw his role change a bit. Academy manager, emerging talents. I cannot respond for Stuart," Gestede said when asked why Jones was departing the club. "He felt overwhelmed at one point. So he decided to take a break. I think he then assessed the situation with his family and decided to leave for his well-being. That would be a good question to ask Stuart himself. "We have not identified his replacement yet. As we mentioned, sometimes we need to assess the people we've got within the club and give the chance to be promoted. So that's something also we've got in our mind. This guy is so frustrating. Clearly a yes man Clearly destroying the culture and environment of the club and then blaming those who have decided they have had enough of this BS and better of leaving than working under these conditions
  20. Good for him Glad he is playing football Clearly some BS going on by the club when he was here and " injured" the guy clearly needs to play and can play but likely some stupid contract issue poorly implemented and then managed by the club.
  21. Outrageous that he was playing for Chorley to our first team.. he's either phenomenal or we are trying to make him an asset to sell to keep the lights on
