  1. That's the Championship. Glad they showed some balls . I've called Eustace a lot, but he got a response after Tuesday. Let's not do a Rovers and lose the next 3 eh...
  2. He was brought in with 2 remits. To keep us up and distract us from the off field nonsense. For all the talk of being harder to beat etc, we are closer to the bottom 3 than when he took over and this is with players back from injury . We look less likely to win games and a few exceptions aside where I have to give credit, we've looked a different type of bad, let's get it right, if Plymouth or Millwall had taken their chances he would be firmly in the dud category. All from a bloke who actually has the players on his side. We set up like a league 2 team away to a prem team hoping for a replay and I don't think this is horses for courses. I think this is 46 games next year with him if we stay up.
  3. John Eusless and his Rubber Dinghy Men, sailed by captain calamity. Could well have two Eustace managed sides going down in the same season.
  4. "Peace in our time" Utter bollocks, haven't they always been able to provide funding if required so long as they matched it? Simple fact, they won't even pay for a power washer. No further money needed since Wharton sold. No guarantee , even in April that season ticket prices will be enticing. Venkys our only saviours according to Suhail *ahem* Steve Any responses on, what there is no accountability at the club, no apology for embarrassing transfer window ? Why no communication after March 12th for an age from the club? Why this reassurance wasn't in that statement. Why Suhail won't meet fans ? Why we can't clean our ground? Does Steve still think selling Brockhall for housing was the future? Any plans for club to get it back? Maguire deal sown up now ....? Why various media outlets paint a very different picture? Why in April are season tickets still at draft stage? Why does he think fan takeovers work better than his match day plans? How was he so wrong about his assurances last time? (Precedent set, no issues...) Why did Maguire get told deal off ? Where that message come from and why? Can he point to any successes how hes improved the club? Why is he qualified to be CEO of this club? When will he frigg off?
  5. JRC and Trondstad really controlled that game. Delighted. Makes a huge difference.
  6. Good find. That's a looong pre-season of slash, sell and burn then.
  7. WATR reiterated that, subject to legal constraints, they wanted the Club to explain the finances better and in more detail with supporters and that explanations as to Indian High Court hearings and the processes were vital to help ensure clarity and to counter all the rumours that occur when there is a communication void. I presume WATR are banging on Waggotts door right now....?
  8. I love this town. I love this club..let's g9 for 3 points tomorrow Mr Eustace. I am so proud of where I come from. Please show the same.. We are THE ROVERS WE ARE BLACKBURN THIS IS LANCASHIRE FUCK VENKYS
  9. Patrick had a bright idea, a moment of pure clarity. He shared it with the world. Unfortunately Patrick was thick as fuck.
  10. I read the WATR minutes and unfortunately the only thing I could keep thinking was , he's lying to you and he doesn't have a clue. More lip service. The same CEO who was telling everyone no money worries come Jan, owners never refuse a cheque, we've bought a new bus. He's a charlatan and has no authority anyway.
  11. The games are running out, we might be a point better off than the start of the night, but I see this going to the last few games and I am not sure many teams would swap for our run in. 😬
  12. Was that the first save in the 92nd minute. We are so devoid of ideas and quality , Millwall got what they came for. Shocking error for our goal, only way we looked like scoring. Leo let's one go in, no deflection middle of the goal, that's poor even at 7 a side. Just how does Eustace intend to win games. Szmodics and blind hope ?
  13. Millwall there for the taking , so long as we don't concede any corners. Really poor both sides of which we've been marginally less poor. The Championship in a nutshell. Some of the first touches in this game are appalling.
  14. I do wonder if the prevailing feeling on social media is still that we had a great window and BRFCs are just a set of moaning Minnie's.
  15. So is foresight and plenty of people were saying it's a huge risk and he might break down straight away , once his injury record had been pointed out.
  16. As for tonight, heart says 2-1 Rovers. I can't shake a nagging doubt it's going to be like the night they knocked us out the cup, with us going longer the more frustrated we all get and play right into their hands.
  17. Agree to a degree, but it's also quite a big risk to loan out your central midfield captain and sell the best central midfielder and replace with a crock, if your going to replace , you kind of need to ensure they aren't on the way to the glue factory, meaning we've now lost 3 centre mids since Jan.
  18. I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't have a thorough medical , the last minute desperation to get a player in to distract from the enveloping doom on deadline day.
  19. Soft lad, like Morton and his Sheff U antics. Think they are too good to bleed for the cause here.
  20. Thank you Chaddy. Stall, stall, stall seems order of the day. The delay in communicating what made us a international laughing stock again, tells me all I need to know about the people at the club. I can't envisage Radio Lancs have been swamped since Jan 31st, but hiding away during an international break suit's those unaccountable cowards, let the flame die down and bring out bollocks about new pathways, revisiting in the summer and new direction all soundbites. Akin to hiding in a fridge.
  21. Pears is a reasonable number 2, in that he's young enough to be on the bench and still have 10-15 years of a career left as a GK nowhere near his best years. An ok shot stopper but not someone who a centre half would trust.. He should be nowhere near a number 1 slot. Alas, GK has never been a priority under this rabble. Like centre halves aren't. He will always have a mistake, because he shouldn't be at this level week in week out. Kean, Walton, Steele (still shit), Pears, Wahlstadt, Leutwiler, all number 2s at best , but that's at clubs who don't just go for cheapest will do
  22. Where the F is Broughton? Waggott not going to comment on the last debacle of 2 months? Absolute Geordie Jabba the Hut
  23. 7 points from the drop when he came in, 1 now and we've mainly played teams around us. I do feel we are more organised defensively, but that was a very low bar. Point a game not enough, can he set up a team to go for 3 points rather than 1 and hope? Tuesday will tell and by Saturday tea time may well define him. Here's hoping he gets a Newcastle reaction rather than a Birmingham away.
