  1. Waggott has perhaps told sylvester to set r everything up in the a system, and then save it, and Waggott will press submit when he has the OK from India. E which never came. So he left it. And the appeal is just a face saving exercise. If it is a family feud and the woman wants no more to do with rovers, then I would think she had felt that way for a while. Perhaps q we shouldn't rule out that she could just pull the plug on us and see us liquidated
  2. But according to yer man nick Harris they still hope to see us in the premiership one day! I'm sure that will be enormous comfort to rovers fans as the club fights to avoid being relegated to the third tier for only the fourth time in its history, and the second time under venkys
  3. They didn't think to check that the league had received the docs until after the deadline? Even though they didn't get confirmation? Presumably all signings get confirmed by the league? And now they're appealing fir if to go through on the basis of pressing the wrong button, as if there's a hope in hell of winning it? These guys just take the piss.
  4. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/11014944.simple-simon-rovers-cup-joy-finest-time/ I just loved reading this, you can just tell how much affection Simon has for the club, he's a good lad
  5. I'm sure you're right. I've worked in toxic workplaces before and it sucks the life out of you. There's no way in earth you can give it your best, you can't even feel relaxed. I'm sure the VC are just used to handing out orders and binning people off who don't jump to attention. But you'll never get the best out of people like that
  6. You ever seen Khartoum the movie? Wouldn't recommend Khartoum the tourist destination, but that's a whole other story. Anyways, if gets to the business party of the movie and we'll not mention yer man olivier's dodgy blackface. So there's athletic Charlton at the top of the stairs, and he's cornered by the Mahdi's top lads all rolled up and quite honestly this is only going one way. So yeah, that could be Waggott at this rate. Except his fat fucking swede would never fit inside the pickle jar. Edit: and the rest of him might dam the Ribble. Here you go, Gordon's alive! But not for very long. "look, lads, let's be sensible here, we'll spend the Wharton dough in the sum..... AIIIIIIIIE!"
  7. Just a cheese filling, with nothing else in there? Good, that's just the bloody worst mate so dry. Can't believe they didn't put some pickle in to take the edge off. And panda pops, that's the real cheap and nasty one isn't it? Ooooof.
  8. Well I don't know what to say mate, deepest sympathies. The VC will be gone one day
  9. Well this is the issue isn't it. 43 years, if you walk away you feel like it's all been for nothing. It all comes down to whether you can accept occupation by the Venky cong. Accepting of course being a different concept to liking. Not being able to accept it, and not being able to change it, of course your mental health is going to take a massive hit. It's something I've struggled with myself. I can only hope this is the beginning of the end. Absolutely no judgement of course on anyone who does walk away. Put your mental health first
  10. Just when you think things can't possibly get worse, they do. When contemplating the last thirteen years of cack-handed buffoonery, Machiavellian malevolence, and sheer willful (gleeful?) neglect, I am often reminded of James stockdale the us air force pilot shot down during the Vietnam war. As he ejected from his plane, he thought to himself "I am leaving the world of technology, and entering the world of epictetus". The Vietnamese leathered the crap out of the guy for most of his seven or so years of incarceration. But never once did he submit. They broke his leg twice. His reliance on stoicism and faith that one day the ordeal would be over, whilst accepting the reality of his current situation, gave rise to the term stockdale paradox. I mention all this because we parachuted over hanoi the day these pustulous turd-licking banjo-strumming freak shows were allowed to buy our beloved club. We left the world of competence and astute guardianship of the club by custodians who genuinely cared. And we entered a world of unremitting pain as people I wouldn't leave in charge of a tuck shop set about recklessly running this club into the ground. Venkys may be breaking my legs, but they'll never break my spirit. In the dichotomy of control, I do not give my energy to contemplating what a galactic mess these fucking idiots have created. It is a test sent by the gods to test my spirit, to see if I can be broken. But I won't, and one day the Venky Cong will be banished. BACK US. Never bow (I'd rather fucking die), stay off the air, admit no crimes, never kiss them goodbye, unity over self. And if fat barry wants a square go, he only has to ask. He can bring his big scary metal bar and his girlfriends if he likes. No bother
  11. "I feel, they do not want to fail. They still think they can get the club back to the Premier League one day." pardon my french, but fuck me, what would it look like if they wanted to fail?
  12. Oh no, in sure we've got enough bollocks already..I don't think we've been shirt of bollocks in any way over the last thirteen years
  13. I feel the future of the club is in the hands of an Indian judge. It's been said many, many tonnes on here, venkys have forgotten we exist etc. I don't that hard to believe given the court hearings and all the rest of it. All we have is guesswork and hope. Have they sold Wharton in the expectation that the investigation will be over in the summer? Why do I get the feeling that the club is very close to going under? Why are they even keeping us? It's it something to do with cooking the books? Surely they don't think they can make a success of the club? So what's the motivation? Petty mindedness because of a snowball? What if the next hearing gets postponed? What if the investigation goes on for another five years? We don't have enough players to sell? If the investigation ends will they still be under a cloud and unable to find signings because it might trigger another investigation? Does it even matter what the judge decides at the next hearing, had too much damage already been done? We're just being left on tenterhooks all the time. I'm exhausted with it
  14. I can't bring myself to click on it. I'm genuinely heartbroken. I was never going to forgive venkys anyway, but this is a new low. They're just bastards they really are
  15. Thirteen years of shit, the club is a smoking hulk, We've let our best talent walk when they didn't want to go and were using the money to pay off the bills run up by brain-dead half wits. But we've signed a player on loan so we must be happy. Happy. Happy. Happy.
  16. I feel this sums up the last thirteen years so well
  17. But still we go on supporting the club Guess we'll never break the chain
  18. I think the QPR game will tell us everything. After the last few days, I think we're in crisis. I was thinking it would be next year that we drop, but Christ on a bike, we could really just collapse here. If we can beat QPR then I think we should be ok for this year. Lose and we really in it
  19. Thought I'd be mental health positive last night and swerve the forum for a bit. But fuck me, next thing I know, I get a news notification this morning that we pulled out of the McGuire deal mid flight. Venky's and their acolytes have dragged this club through the dung. Long gone are the days when we could be proud to support this club. Adam going brought me low, but pissing players about like that, that is an absolute fucking disgrace. I just can't believe it. It just gets worse and worse. What a clown show.
  20. If the investigation is over in the summer, we'll never be free of these bastards
