The payroll probably needed pruning. -
One of teh best movies of teh year? We've only just got to February ... Just watched teh Third Man on DVD, a proper bloody film, great visuals and plot no CGI rubbish. I'm not one to stroll into the realms of fantasy*, so a washed-up pulp writer out of his league in post-war Vienna suited me nicely. Apart from bond movies, but that's different!

Just get a portable instead and save yourself the flaming bother. -
Yeah, the bit where he's grooving away is really silly! I think Scarface is a bit overlong, they could've trimmed 20-odd minutes here and there I'm sure. The bit where they take that dude up in the chopper was quite good. Plenty of great lines in it, and a totally mental performance from Pacino. One of my fave films is Carlito's Way, and there are plenty of sly nods and winks to Scarface in that film, it's a sort of unofficial sequel to it. eg, the nightclub Carlito runs is El paraiso, the name of teh burger bar Tony has in Scarface.

He was playing with himself whilst sat on a webcam? Presumably it went right up his bum?

Yeah, bit strange that she was still happy to get poked by Cole after he'd chundered. It's as if "I was given a doing by a footballer, but not for long because he chucked" wouldn't be much of a story. I doubt Terry and Lampard were in the room at the time but isn 't Terry the one who like burning fifties down nightclubs, and hasn't he also cheated on the mother of his children more than once. Don't think there's any dirt on Lampard.

Was it Posh Spice? He was flaming useless. The one thing he should've done differently is not to have signed the contract in the first place. He didn't seem to be benefitting from making notes when he was on the touchline. -
Why are people getting het up about Lucas Neill? In the words of Fleetwood MacAvennie: "Yesterday's gone, yesterday's gone." Yes, he told Brownie fibbers (probably because he knew it was going to be all over this website afterwards), yeah he ran his contract down to get a mega-dosh move, yeah he's not satisfied with earning only 55k a week at West Ham. From what I remember though, he said he moved to have a new challenge, not necessarily to win things, and he didn't want to be a substitute. "Modern-day footballer out for himself, not fussed about leaving current employers shocka! Read awl abaht it! 55k a week not enuff!" It's a wider pehnonemon than just Lucas Neill.

28 days later was just another cliche-laden end-of-the-world film. It's a very well-worn groove, and shooting it with a handheld digi-camera doesn't disguise that. Planet of the Apes was OK - does that qualify as an end of teh world movie? He feels pretty lonely when he sees the Statue of Liberty ...

I can see that he's for the chopping block.
