  1. Do you still think we’ll be challenging for the play offs ?
  2. We’re making one maybe two good chances per game. If we don’t take them we’re relying on our defence to have an error free game. It’s not happening at our level.
  3. His passing is his strength. He needs to be deeper for us to get the best out of him.
  4. How many bookings have we had for “ little lad “ fouls ? Look at Rothwell’s last couple. Little trips from behind. Brererton’s another, kicking the ball away, arguing with the ref. It’s pathetic . Buckley is the same - 10 bookings and probably not one for a real foul. If you’re going to get booked at least make it worthwhile.
  5. I’ve been saying it for years Jim. Name me one of his signings that opponents wouldn’t want to play against because of their physicality. Maybe Smallwood, Van Hecke can hold his own, then you’ve said it.
  6. I’ve had a serious injury and staying part of the team and joining in with the camaraderie makes being injured more bearable.
  7. I’d still gamble on him doing a better job than Mowbray.
  8. It’s the signal it sends to the rest of the group.
  9. So you’ve got three centre backs marking one striker ? That’s even if they play with a striker.
  10. Some the strikers I played with you’d need a chainsaw to get the ball off them if a penalty had been awarded. Greedy bastards.
  11. I’m not bothered about another pen- I was there when John Coddington took his pen. No miss would come near to that. I just don’t want another red card for our opponents.
  12. He can’t get us back in a game when we go behind - ever, and he can’t halt a death spiral until it no longer matters. As I said the other day, we’ve been rewarding failure for too long. We get bullied and out enthused most of the time and I’m tired of saying it.
  13. He should be back here having treatment on the injury.
  14. There’s a lot of potential at Bradford if he can get it right.
  15. It was a night for the captain to take the ball and blast it through the keeper into the back of the net. It’s as much about temperament as much as it’s about technique.
  16. They need the conditions to be right for ale house , I mean direct, football. One look outside the house last night told me Spurs wouldn’t fancy a night on’t Turf one little bit.
  17. We’ve had roughly speaking two good months Gav, other than that - business as usual. In fact from the point of view of scoring goals this is the worst death spiral of the lot.
