I liked to get stuck in and the rougher it got the more I liked it. Strange really because off the pitch I'm not an aggressive person. Yeah it makes you wonder wether clubs actually want people to roll up on Saturday afternoons. Not just Rovers but most clubs. I've got a good pal who's a Sunderland fan. When they play at Rochdale he's coming up to stay with us and the plan is to go to the match. We're both nearer 70 than 60 but we'll both have to go in the away end because of the segregation rules. That's if we can get a ticket. The game is in April next year I think and if Sunderland are up there in the league we'll be lucky to get a ticket. Either that or blag our way into the home main stand.

I can only say points wise we've exceeded my expectations. Playing wise there have been times when we've looked really good and worthy of being a contender for the play-offs. Other times we've looked a bit ropey. If all our games had have finished after 85 minutes we'd be looking really good.

It is off the mark. Garner never actually played for Halifax although there was talk about him signing for them but it never actually happened.

I haven't seen him play in the flesh yet but that run out of defence and the improvised pass at the end of it against Bournemouth was the sort of play that only top players can make.

I agree with you. For that sort of money he should be able to make things happen on his own account and not just be relying on perfect service from the midfield. Craig Bellamy could make any pass into a good pass.
