That must have been a big game. That area between the Riverside Stand and the Darwen End was always sparsely populated normally. Maybe the wind blew through there ? -

If they’re all fully fit I’d expect that to be our starting line up. -

Interesting. I like to see two strikers up front and as you say it did the trick for Luton previously. I’d definitely be giving that a go in training and seeing how it worked out. On another point we’re in a position now when everybody is fit were even our second eleven looks decent. -

I don’t think Cantwell is anywhere starting yet. I initially read that earlier post as being “ Cantwell’s hair could be the difference in a game like this “ “ instead of “ Cantwell’s flair “. I must remember to clean my reading glasses. We need a team of 100 percenters out there in a derby, players who aren’t fully up to speed stay on the bench. -
They are definitely “ gig “ shoes.

I’m not sure that’d work. I don’t see us playing with two up front and I don’t see Yuki playing in a deeper role. He’s a striker. If we’re only playing with one striker we’ll probably start with Guyere and bring Yuki on later. Unless we are chasing the game it’ll be one or the other. -
With the weather in Greater Manchester ? How long would they stay like that. Nice though.

I had a bit of faith in Eustace, especially after the end of last season. He looked to have instilled a bit of team spirit and will to win into the place. -

Their keeper didn’t see Travis who was cunningly hiding behind their centre half. -

It looked to me as though the “ project “ was to bump around this division for ever meanwhile developing players to sell to Premier League clubs or to send back their players at the end of their loan period. Promotion wasn’t on the cards but maybe it is now, we’ll soon see in January. -
They’re always confident mate, there must be something in the water over there.

It only took me 1 game, which we lost, but I was hooked. -

BBD was a “ development signing “ when we were crying out for two or three experienced pros. -

Sammi was a good case in point. BBD not so. I’d love to know the thinking behind that signing. -

The lad looks like a really good finisher. Not all strikers are technically gifted but they know where the goals are. -

I went to see that at the “ Palace “ theatre in Manchester last week. It was brilliantly performed but not my cup of tea at all. I didn’t enjoy it. If you like “ Mrs Browns Boys “ you’ll enjoy “ The Book Of Mormon “.

It’s early days yet but the biggest change I think he’s made is in the mentality of the team. We are no longer easy to play against and we’ve brought in players who are more physical and don’t take a backward step. -

The new Gordon Lee. He left us for first division Newcastle and then Everton. That’s after getting us promoted with the usual Ewood pocket money.
