  1. I had a bit of faith in Eustace, especially after the end of last season. He looked to have instilled a bit of team spirit and will to win into the place.
  2. I’m expecting Gueye to start.
  3. Their keeper didn’t see Travis who was cunningly hiding behind their centre half.
  4. That’ll count for nothing on Sunday at 12-30.
  5. It looked to me as though the “ project “ was to bump around this division for ever meanwhile developing players to sell to Premier League clubs or to send back their players at the end of their loan period. Promotion wasn’t on the cards but maybe it is now, we’ll soon see in January.
  6. They’re always confident mate, there must be something in the water over there.
  7. It only took me 1 game, which we lost, but I was hooked.
  8. BBD was a “ development signing “ when we were crying out for two or three experienced pros.
  9. Sammi was a good case in point. BBD not so. I’d love to know the thinking behind that signing.
  10. Blame it on Pep and the wannabe Peps.
  11. The lad looks like a really good finisher. Not all strikers are technically gifted but they know where the goals are.
  12. That was a good pair of finishes though, not just one.
  13. He was probably saying “ See what happens when you keep it simple ? “
  14. There were 14 bookings in the Bournemouth v Chelsea game.
  15. I went to see that at the “ Palace “ theatre in Manchester last week. It was brilliantly performed but not my cup of tea at all. I didn’t enjoy it. If you like “ Mrs Browns Boys “ you’ll enjoy “ The Book Of Mormon “.
  16. It’s early days yet but the biggest change I think he’s made is in the mentality of the team. We are no longer easy to play against and we’ve brought in players who are more physical and don’t take a backward step.
  17. The new Gordon Lee. He left us for first division Newcastle and then Everton. That’s after getting us promoted with the usual Ewood pocket money.
  18. I remember another Liverpool game , might have been that game though, were the Liverpool fans didn’t bother going via the Riverside but went straight down the pitch like a scene from the film “ Zulu “.
  19. He was never going to leave Pears out today no matter what. It would be too early to throw the new guy in, it looks like it’s motivated Pears anyway.
  20. That’s my thinking as well.
  21. And that really brave header at Norwich.
  22. I think he will. Guyere is our No 1 striker. I can see Yuki coming on after an hour though.
  23. Rovers fans always love a trier, especially a skilful one
  24. Amazing, how about the season before ?
