I can’t see any point in rushing Travis back given how many other players are missing. If he aggravates it again he could be out longer still. If we had anything like a full squad I’d say it was worth the risk but we don’t and it isn’t. Travis is too brave for his own good.

Is Litherland only 18 ? He looked older when I saw him play. He looked quite handy but you should be making your debut in a settled team ideally. Not in a team full of players that have never played together before.

No doubt somebody will correct me if I.m wrong but at this time last season weren’t we on the same number of games and points ? Then we stayed in the league hanging on by our finger nails. 6 games that were considered as winnable, so far we’ve won one and lost one.

With all our current forward players, with the possible exception of Leonard, their first movement is towards the ball. None of them move away from the ball and into space behind our opponents defence.

I never realised how slow he is.

He was awful at Ewood. For someone who was reputedly a good crosser of the ball he couldn’t even land a corner. I also heard he wasn’t popular with the other players.

Nobody scouting him so far will have been sending back glowing reports.
