How un attractive would they have to be for working for the Chicken Chokers be more attractive ? I couldn’t name one team in the championship. -

I was just thinking that earlier. Another really good opportunity going begging because of lack of investment. In my darker moments I thought - “ Well that’s another season over “ earlier today. When I think of what we spent on Gallagher and Brererton I could spit ! -

Useless Eustace?

There’s not a chance of that whilst we’re in the Chicken Chokers death grip. Only when they leave. I just hope I’m still alive. -

OK, he may have been ill, if he was fair play to him for turning out. Having said that he’s too passive for me. He needs to be getting on the ball more and running the show. -

Millwall had him weighed up. Get him facing his own goal then take the ball off him. He’s not strong enough to retain possession. -

He’s more easily shrugged off the ball than Dolan also. If we could do better I’d send him back. The new Saka ? I don’t think so. -

A lot of big guys are like that. It’s the little guys you need to look out for, the Speediest and the Dickovs. -

We are set up at the moment to get the best out of the limited squad we have. It’s as simple as that. -

It’s just an excuse. They’ve absolutely no intentions of financing the club anymore. Even the dogs in the street know that. -

That’s definitely true, and all the injuries haven’t helped. We need some bodies in next week, not on Jan 31st. -

If they really want him, he’ll be gone. I for one wouldn’t blame him. -

That’s another good.point. Not just any old fixtures, but three really taxing games. Millwall at the Den isn’t a walk in the park either. Some guys have all the luck. -

It’s not like they’re missing chances though is it ? If you want players that make their own chances you need to be spending real money. -

They also got to play us at exactly the right time. At the end of a run of tightly packed fixtures that will always benefit the teams with the bigger squads. The Millwall game were we lost both of Travis and Pickering to medium/ long term injuries topped off by losing Ohashi to a bad tackle at Leeds gave us a real mountain to climb. It’s not just that they are missing but then the “ bench “ players become starters and you get kids on the bench. Given a full squad to pick from I’d have been really fancying our chances today. Instead we were left hoping for the best. -

I said before the game I would have started with the usual back 7 with JRC, Buckley, Hedges in the 3 and Dolan up front. Anybody not 100% fit I wouldn’t have started. In Eustace we trust but I agree with you regarding the forward players. -

I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt today. He’d been ill apparently, maybe he put his hand up to play because he knew he was needed. Today has gone though and I’ll be expecting a lot more in future. The attacking part of the game needs to go through whoever’s playing in that role, not pass them by. He needs to be more demanding and get on the ball more. -

I’d have had JRC playing before ACD. -

Whoever plays right up front at the moment are on a hiding to nothing. How many chance do we make for the strikers ? 1 or 2 a game at the most. If you want strikers that make their own goals, they cost serious money not magic beans. -

It’s that sort of decision making that does my head in. Along with the over ambitious pass down field when the obvious pass is shorter and out wide. Plus the passes that go behind players so they have stop and lose all forward momentum. I can’t believe Eustace doesn’t sit them down on a Monday morning and play the games back incident by incident. “ Right, you lost the ball/gave the ball away there, where should you have passed it to ? “
