This season has been really weak. If we’d have spent anything like a few bob we’d have been in with a real shout of the play offs. However even the weak teams at the bottom of the Premier League are much better. The gap is growing exponentially.

Pears is way down the list of Rovers goalkeepers in my time. We had much better keepers than him back when we were in the old third division.
