  1. Weren't Boro relegated (under Robson?) Everton have been there all along.
  2. Well there we have it, the solution. Free bike light instructions should be given out upon entrance into the ground. Anyone got John Williams' Email address?
  3. Aren't Fulham in a similar boat to ourselves? They splashed the cash to get to the premiership, the money kind of dried up a while back and the gates went downhill in due course. Heard that one of their stands is now for 'neutrals', basically meaning it'll probably be full of away fans when they play a team with a big following. Hope we don't turn to such desperate measures. We've all got our little theories but the sad truth is there appears to be no solution.
  4. I didn't pay to read Damo's link?
  5. What constitues 'reasonable'?!? Wearing a replica shirt and staying away from alcohol, maybe even taking a rattle and a scarf with you? So Paul what if YOU were wrongly accused? Would you just sit back and take it on the chin? Or would you protest your innocence? Especially when the accusation means you can't watch the team you support. Dave, of course I'd protest my innocence but I also know I wouldn't get into the situation in the first place. Now I also realise this is a topic I should have kept out of, I'm dipping out because I know I'm at least 25 years too old to appreciate the younger view. Left to myself I'd avoid the situation, my son is 18, and I know how young people feel about that view so it's best if I just try to bow out gracefully. It's the difference between youth and experience, that's all. OK? Fair do's. Think people were a little harsh on BRFCC though, he started a topic for discussion and quite frankly some of the comments directed at him are pathetic and childish, not mentioning any names.

  7. Well you would believe that wouldnt you, considering that you are one of the 17. Well I can't vouch for this BRFCC bloke but I know for a fact that a few on that list don't deserve to be banned and if they are our club is losing loyal supporters who have done nothing wrong. Please explain. What's there to explain? I know at least 2 on the list have no interest in hooliganism WHATSOEVER. It's quite easy to become a 'suspected hooligan' these days, not necessarily saying that's a bad thing because it needed clamping down on. Take Preston away pre-season. 15 of us went to Preston by train and made our way to the exchange, within 10 minutes around 20 of lancashires finest turn up and proceed to follow us round all day. I'm not complaining, we had a crack with them and there was no trouble whatsoever. None of the 15 have been involved in violent disorder of any sort but we were clearly 'suspected hooligans' because we liked a drink and didn't wear replica shirts. If I received a banning order for what I consider normal behaviour for a lad my age then I'd be extremely pi$$ed off and would appeal against it till it was over-turned.

  9. What the fook? Is it against their religion to support a white player?
  10. Or casuals perhaps? Because that's all most of them are, people who wear casual clothes instead of replica shirts and drink in groups on a matchday.
  11. Well USA blue could either be feeling very smug/indifferent in a few weeks or might have copious amounts of egg on his face, no-one knows. Respect to him for putting his case forward though and giving reasons. I honestly can't remember a new manager having so much enthusiasm though from the fans AND players which is surely a good thing. Can't wait till Saturday now and thats purely cos of the football (it used to be cos of the ale)
  12. Looking back that's a typical 'Souness signing'. Woodgate for Johnsen eh? To be fair there weren't many better freebies about but can't see that crock improving their defence.
  13. I know a few and also know for a fact they aren't even hooligans or interested in being hooligans!
  14. I don't understand these rolling contracts, how on earth do people manage to sign them? Is there a handbrake or something which allows you to put pen to paper?!
  15. Whats all this?!? He's been signing Italian dogs?! He's a bloody football manager not a dog trainer, what the hells going on? I doubt the geordies will be happy when they find out that Shearers replacement is a poodle
  16. I was sat a bit away from the banner in question but I made it out to say 'TROOPERS HEAD IS LIKE A HORSES BUM'
  17. Well all signs point to there being a bit of cash to spend in January then. Does this mean that the board had started to doubt Souness in the transfer market and tighten the purse strings more than was neccessary? Only time will tell I suppose.
  18. Well I'll be there and to be honest it's actually the first time in a LONG time I've actually been looking forward to a match
  19. So does anyone know who's making the new kits?
  20. Are SSN not covering it? I'd look but I'm stuck at work
  21. I knew you'd say something sensible one day Besides, the scenery is so nice in Wales that its inhabitants don't want to go on holiday in other countries, I suspect that's something to do with it. Oh and theres a small boy that runs up mountains there if you forget your change, allegedly.
  22. Yes you can listen to talksport online, talksport.net I think it is.
  23. Why? Is there still some dust on it? Has Souness took the cleaners with him to Newcastle too?
  24. I don't think he prances round the Golden Cross with a Strongbow beanie hat on though on a Friday night
