There should have been only one red card in that game, for Mido's elbow antics. The ref quite plainly lost the plot by the end with two pointless reds against spurs for no good reason. Totally ruined the game. No wonder attndances are in decline...

OK, thought about it. I have said some daft things myself in the past, but i really think the whole idea of Becks coming to play for us is quite absurd. Sorry, but if you honestly think we can afford to give him these wages then good luck to you. Merchandising is a laugh - we simply do not have enough fans for that and I don't relish the prospect of glory hunters tagging along with him. That said, I wouldn't mind seeing him in the team. While we are at it, lets put in a bid for Rooney, Lampard, Ronhaldhinio and Maradonna too...

It's true that it hasn't been proved, and it makes me laugh when 'boffins' descredit the film 'The Day After Tomorrow'. Now, I'm not saying that the idea's in the film are more realistic than the old Global Warming idea, but as has been rightly pointed out, we know naff all about nature. The thing is, though, it is the media who are generally portraying it as scientific fact. Boffins. They haven't got a clue. Look at the age old food debates - is dairy produce good for us? is red wine good in moderation? They just don't know, but it is human nature to pretend to.
