Not surprised though, with a 3pm Saturday kick off... Who the hell thought of that? I tell you this now - it won't catch on and the fans wont stand for it.

The controversy continues...

Thats what we should do with the CIS/Walkersteel/Riverside stand - build shops, bars and a fairground on it!

Did we not vote for a this seasons kit early this year? I think it has been a brand new home and away kit every season since summer 04. -
SSN just reported confirmation of UEFA investigating Feyenoord for two incidents. Last night and the beer thrown at MGP.

I think it was discussed elsewhere that Mr Coar is no relation. Could be wrong. No Idea about Mr Williams, but it isn't an uncommon surname. Who knows? -

I mentioned this in another post but it is probably more relevent here. FM2007 is £20 at Ossy Mills in the Accy Stanley booth. Not bad as it beats most retailers and most of the internet... -

Hurrah! Number one for home and number three for away!! Can we have the poll again? -
Just been to Ossy Mills. The little Accy Stanley booth they have is great, but got me thinking of our own shop. While the booth sells all kinds of Stanley related bits and pieces, as well as FM2007 for just £20, ours is really just another sports store. I miss the tacky old stuff (Rovers badge on anything saleable). I never feel enthused by anything I see in the shop these days.

Maybe not, but if it did happen, I wouldn't be surprised if the same swap happened in thier career too!

And at Chelsea Neill can disappear into footballing wilderness, remembering the days he was a first team regular while he counts out his money. Then again, he could do this at Liverpool too. -

Sorry, can't get sucked into this. I think I used up all my luck when I used £10 of my free bet with Bet 24 on Rovers to be losing to Wisla Krakow at HT and winning at FT (odds of 23). When Bentley scored in the dying minutes I was a man possessed! The wife promptly banned me from betting again, on the assumption I would gain an invincibility complex. Good luck to those who are betting though! -

Yes, he was. I thought he needed resting then, but I am quite concerned he is playing on despite injury and poor form. It is just a shame that Sergio is not giving Hughes any reason to pick him. -

Similarly, several members questioned the need for so many strikers and the signing of Henchoz. I don't think our squad isn't big enough, it just isn't getting the results because they aren't playing to thier potential. Players like Gamst really need to stand up and be counted at this stage. Although I feel for him as he is playing through the pain barrier - why isn't he being rested? Hasn't it already been mentioned elsewhere that he hasn't had any clear competetive time off for nearly two years? Brad and Tugay can't do any more than they already are, Bert and Grey are performing beyond our expectations and Savage just doesn't stop. While Ooijer and Zurab are playing better, I would like to see more concentration. Henchoz is performing better than I expected too. Bentley and McCarthy need to work on thier consistency, and Nonda and Jeffers should be battling for that final spot in the team. I had hoped that Peter would have taken his few chances to shine this year, but he didn't do enough unfortunately. He, Gally, Axe, Todd and Jay should be looking at this poor form as thier opportunity to perform and proove thier worth. Alas, they just seem jaded. That said, we should take this short break as a positive and look towards a positive December. With enough focus, and with no real pressure on us for the Euro game we could rack up up some points and be looking at the rest of the table from the opposite end as we are polishing off the turkey. -
[Archived] Hughes Demands Video Technology
Wolverine replied to Mr. E's topic in Football Messageboard Archive
But at least it would be fair. At the moment it is unfair to the fans who attend the matches some spending small fortunes to follow the team, only to have a fair result taken away by incompetence. I have been to several rugby games where technology is used and it works a damn site better than it does now. A few people I know who went last night said they won't bother again, but will watch it on TV instead because they are fed up of paying to watch good games ruined.
