Reducing the capacity would not be a plus point if we are aiming to get back to the top flight,leave the capacity as is.

A Hotel,the much mooted Rovers Museum,gym facilities,a day to day community centre,restaurant with a fast food takeaway coupled with outside financial investment in the new Stand with naming rights...the possibilities are endless. A new 5,000 single tier stand like the Tom Finney at Deepdale to raise it to the height of the BBE and Darwen End...you could even fill in the corners like they have at Turf Moor with dedicated disabled facilities. Needs some drive and forward thinking..not holding my breath!!

Just don't get what all the excitement is about,expectations have gone through the floor.

Might be a very nice lad who loves his nan but let's see what he is capable of in the English league first. Welcome all the same.

I'd give my left bollock to be involved in the running of the club I support AND be paid a handsome salary to do it...what a cream dream job!

The club has no intention whatsoever of doing such a thing Matty..they just want to shut areas of the stadium down.

Why in God's name didn't the Walker offspring continue to run the club as a sound family business?....only they know their reasons for the fire sale but I have a feeling they wanted theirs and theirs alone rightful inheritance back asap. I have always suspected a modicum of resentment on their behalf to Jack's Philanthropism

And here you see how a lowering of expectations is now becoming the excepted norm on and off the field of play by supporters...is a worrying and terminal trend.

Shearer,Jansen,Bellamy,Cole,Cruz..what a joy to witness players of this Calibre at our club. When I see the current lacklustre incumbents in our famous shirt I pinch myself and ask did it really happen?,it's enough to make you ferkin weep... Oh for a time Machine to be invented!!

Players now earning close to half a Million per game when the vast majority of supporters are struggling. All seater stadium have killed the atmosphere at most grounds especially Ewood.

Slightly off topic but why so many England games played at Southampton?...get up north ffs!

Too damn right..the combination of those two nearly proved too much for me and most Rovers fans. We were having the piss taken out of us in public,we have only just recovered from that nightmare period.Once again threads like this only offer to open up old wounds.

For all the much vaunted stability that Mowbray has brought under his tenure we will not/cannot move forward to where we should be. It will be mid table mediocrity for ever and a day under this man.
