I wonder how Lancashire Police would cope with a WestHam/Millwall,Utd/Liverpool,Celtic/Rangers game were fans are literally sat next to each other? Maybe the club don't want an empty lower tier Stuart to save embarrassment on TV?

The only plausible explanation Stuart is that it's been done on Police advise and as ever the club have bent over forward to accommodate.They simply don't want home and away fans merged in or behind that stand...anything else makes zero sense.

Let's be brutally honest,as with the closure of the family stand the Closure of the Darwen End has been badly handled by the Club..there was zero consultation with the fans.No effort was made to appease those moved from Darwen End...they were left to their own devices. As I have said before you and all your mates need to get back in the BBE Barry..get the other 4,500 singing( BBEnders will join in) and you will make a noise and some....just like it used to be.Seated Stadia have made it safer to a negligible extent but it has killed the atmosphere at most grounds. A game of two halves if ever there was one but like so many games last season why do we not look up for it from the start?...against better opposition we could have been down and out by half time.Second half much better from Rovers but just didn't have the overall nous to crack Millwall. I have an awful feeling some of these players who Mowbray has stayed loyal too are going to get found out badly at this level. A few more pointers: · Anyone else think Dack and Graham look top heavy..watch the Pies lads! · Like the look of Palmer,appeared a Class above anything on the Pitch..ain't at Chelsea for nothing folks. · The Darwen End looked ridiculous with just 800 away fans in...still believe the decision to close it to Rovers fans was done on Police advise.Barely any increase in Home attendance numbers and I don't think that's going to change anytime soon. · Going to take time to adjust to this level again,no wins against two unfancied run of the Mill sides in this Division...would take mid table finish now!

Yep, without question the sale of Rovers to the Lunatics came at about the very,very worst possible time. The Walker offspring could have been worth Tens if not Hundreds of Millions more if they had had their fathers business nous. The club should have been a family dynasty for them but they fecked up big time imo.
