Because it is a long held policy on the Forum and the norm in most organisations to wait until the minutes are issued before discussing them. As you will remember Simon from when you were on the Forum.

I don’t know where you got the idea that I don’t know when the minutes will be out. As I said somewhere over the weekend there were a couple of loose ends to tidy from our side and they have I think been sorted. I’m also a bit mystified why you and a few others are obsessing about the number of season tickets sold at a date 2 weeks ago, about 3 weeks from the early bird deadline. To put you out of your misery there is no figure in the minutes as no one asked the question. I’m relaxed about that because it would have been a meaningless figure whatever it was. The great majority of people who were going to buy will be doing in the last week. What would be the point in paying two weeks ago?

The club aren't sitting on them - I have a version approved but I'm just checking with the chair on a couple of points. He has a day job (unlike me) so it could take a little while.

I think this time it was because there had not been a Forum for longer than usual and there was clear unrest from the fan base. Although we have also seen more people attending from the club in general over the last year or two. Rudy Gusted has attended pretty much since he was appointed, Suhail Shaikh has been a few times etc.

The minutes are agreed jointly between the club's management and the Forum members, effectively myself as Secretary and Mark as Chair. On the club side anyone who came to the meeting I assume sees any sections referring to themselves but ultimately it is Steve Waggott. For the last meeting there were a lot of attendees from the club which inevitably slows the process down a bit. Us agreeing to the minutes does not of course mean that we agree with all they say, only that they are an accurate record of what was said. For Old Codger on the season ticket thread the minutes are sometimes changed after the meeting to reflect updated information. If this happens I clearly mark it as such. There is as far as I know no intention to do that this time.

I expect them to be out early next week.

There was a story in the LEP a few months ago saying that Pinocchios' reopening had been put back until early 2025 due to problems with delivery of some kitchen equipment. As I understand it, it is planned to reopen some time but not as yet. Personally I have always liked their other restaurant, San Carlo at Much Hoole.

Anyone coming in from Blackburn Old Road should know that there are 3 way traffic lights at the roundabout next to the Fielden's Arms - expect long delays.

Wednesday night to Sunday lunchtime is plenty long enough a gap for me for them to start both. Especially given they haven\'t been playing recently. They might not be ready or the manager might choose not to start them but I would be inclined to think at least one will start on Sunday.

The agreement is for two games to be shown live. The Leeds Utd v Sheff Weds game a couple of weeks ago was the first and Monday's game the second.
