  1. We're literally joint top with a rag-tag squad of whatever players Mowbray deigned to offer a new contract to and kids. What more do you people want??!
  2. Just seen the QPR highlights - the referee has ruined that game within 20 minutes. Never a penalty, never a red card. The standard of officiating at this level beggars belief.
  3. We'd need another goal scorer to really push for promotion. I wouldn't be surprised if Brereton goes in January and Gallagher / Dolan / Hirst isn't a consistent source of goals - they'll chip in at best.
  4. I thought their wall played Wharton on and it was never a penalty. Went down too easily - even with multiple replays it's not clear if there was any contact. We absolutely bossed Sunderland and they can have no qualms about the result.
  5. Garrett was much, much better in the second half to be fair to him. He was nowhere near MOTM, but he didn't look too out of place at this level after 90 minutes. He hasn't done his cause any harm.
  6. I think you need to give some more credit to Hedges, he was brilliant tonight. Szmodic was very, very good too.
  7. Yep, we're crying out for another good option upfront. Vale did nothing again when he came on - how far way is Leonard from the first team?
  8. Silence in the first half (he wasn't introduced as a homecoming hero to the crowd and he barely left the dugout). A few mocking chants of "Mowbray, what's the score?" and "Mowbray, sort it out!" when they were down 2-0. Slunk off down the tunnel after the final whistle too.
  9. Garrett off at half time please, he's way off the pace tonight.
  10. Club legend?! Give over. How far we've fallen to consider a once good Championship striker a club legend.
  11. Well he's dropped Wharton and Phillips because they're young players who who he doesn't think can play 90 minutes at this level yet - especially not 3 days after the last match. Travis is suspended and Pickering is injured.
  12. How so? Again sticking to a formation that has worked - the only real question mark being Hedges ahead of Mola / Edun at LWB, but I guess he thinks we'll be on the front foot tonight so wants a ball player there.
  13. I'm a fan who attends and it'll take a lot for me not to boo him.
  14. What else is there to do in Middlesbrough?
  15. You mean some of the shit he came out with whilst manager at Rovers, right? He always ran us down as a club.
  16. Middlesbrough? Lots of empty seats there yesterday.
  17. Nah, just hitting their stride unfortunately as their brand new team starts to gel. It just reiterates how moronic the parachute payments are. They've spent an absolute fortune.
  18. Personally I'd like to go back to the 4-2-3-1, but we have an abundance of CBs now so it's going to be difficult to drop any of them.
  19. Did the team pick itself? No. Did he get the subs wrong? No. Szmodics and Dolan added energy, Hedges and Carter allowed Brereton and Phillips to be rested. So where is this comment coming from?
  20. Top 6 and we're nowhere near the finished article. I'll take that. Very happy with how things are going under JDT at the moment - excited to see what this team turns into, especially with a few more additions (and subtractions...).
  21. Yep, an extra minute of extra time. He tried everything he could to gift Boro a point today.
  22. That's another stamp by a Boro player on Travis.
