Won more games last than we have at this level since relegation. Whilst there was some shockers in there, with what he had available his style must have been doing something right.

Your Expectations for this Season?
MarkBRFC replied to SIMON GARNERS 194's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
At the moment I don't think we'll be finishing anywhere near the top 6. Need at least 2 more players across the front 3 for me, then another defender and someone who can operate in the 10 position. Get them and lose nobody then I think we'll be looking at it but I still wouldn't be putting money on actually finishing there. The league will be stronger this season than last. -
Hedges with one back. 2-1
-
Finished 0-0. 2-0 down now. Scott Wharton making a hash of things and giving away a pen.
-
1-0 down in the second game.

Unlikely as there owner hates streaming.

Probably would have included him in the list if absentees with Ennis etc yesterday if Buckley wasn't ready.

The only sense a membership like that makes to us is for non ST holders. Pay say £20 a season but then they should be able to get £5 off each match day ticket they buy that season. I imagine the only ones they will do will be a few quid off whatever they decide to make the category A games this season.

23/24 kit; is a new sponsor needed?
MarkBRFC replied to alex l's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
They gave us that £20 in club cash off the early bird ST this season instead, can't possibly have both. £15 more expensive than Stanley the adults shirt this season, with a £5 increase on last season i think. -

No Adult shirts online in case anyone wanted one https://www.roverstore.co.uk/kit/2324-home-kit/ -
Can't say I am too fussed about that. From a purely selfish point of view i would much prefer to have Wharton and Phillips in pre season with us than over in Malta with England.

Venkys London Ltd accounts
MarkBRFC replied to Pete1981's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
There will be some crowing about how amazing venkys are on social media right about now. Yet they won't authorise £2m for a new pitch. -

Rovers fixtures 23/24
MarkBRFC replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
It won't be Wednesday as Sheff Utd are at home boxing day, Newcastle are at home too so probably rules out Sunderland. Boro, or a yorkshire trip to Hudds or Rotherham is my guess. -

New Years day on is always a strange one, seems you can end up anywhere. Remember us playing down at Norwich and Spurs in the past on that date. Boxing Day they do tend to keep it local "ish" though. -

More likely to be up in the North East or over in Yorkshire on Boxing Day I reckon. -

Was usually 1864Roverite back in the day from memory something about being in the know with the police, and they were never correct. -
Jon Dahl Tomasson - no longer Sweden coach
MarkBRFC replied to Tom's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Don't get me wrong I have been frustrated at times. But to keep that squad in the mix until the last day of the season, after being badly let down in January for me was a really good job by JDT. Far better than anything his predecessor achieved. We have to kick on again this season though, and you are correct that for some reason the Ewood crowd will be less tolerant of him than they were of Mowbray if we were to start badly.
