Away at Bournemouth is a bit more of a test to be fair. That’s been our toughest game by a long shot. Shame we weren’t playing them now and full of confidence. I think it could have made for a different game. Think Williams has been solid and got a couple of goals as well.

We don’t need much. As Philip mentioned we do have quite a few to come back in already. For me it’s just left back. Bell has had an OK couple of games, he’s been fine but over the length of the season I do feel that’s an area where we are going to get found out. I’m also concerned that we don’t seem to be using Nyambe as much as we should. For me he’s the best RB at the club and we need to get his contract sorted. I don’t think I would rush to sign a back up keeper if it means we can’t strengthen elsewhere. If Kaminski gets injured we should bring in an emergency loan but if he stays fit, he plays!

I’d like to see BB get the goal his performance has deserved.

Bobby Duncan off to Derby on a free as long as Fiorintina get a decent sell on fee. Could be a shrewd move or he could fall the same way as a lot of young players.

Is it still the case that you can use an emergency loan if your keeper gets injured outside of the window? I would be going down that route. Fisher on the bench and then an emergency loan if we need to call on a keeper due to injury.

Think the criticism of @JoeH is a bit unfair as the lad didn’t say at any stage we had signed Manning. Im also struggling to see any areas of the pitch that need improving more than LB. We can’t buy another forward after what we’ve already spent in that area. Personally I feel that if we can get a good left back sorted we have had a very good window. However a huge part of that has to be down to the shock that has been Dolan. Now he seems special!

I still think I would prefer a left back who could defend. All the quotes from qpr fans seem to suggest he’s not good at that part of the game

I have no issue with him as third choice. I have more concern over Lenihan as our starting CB. Not convinced.

Dolan could end up being a big player for us this season. Defenders nightmare as he has such good feet.

We did ok but at the end of the day we still only had two shots on target in the entire game. With the number of goals we concede we are going to be having to score with every single chance to compete. I know it’s pretty obvious but we are going to have to massively tighten up or create a hell of a lot more chances or we are in for a very long season.

I predicted a 2-2 draw on super 6 as well. I think there will be goals and they have had a lot of changes over the summer. Its embarrassing that we go into the new season with just one signing when it was clear we needed 4 at least.

Boro will be my outside bet for promotion. Not sure what odds you can get on them but they will be a decent outside bet.
