  1. It was mentioned again in the latest FF reading the minutes… of course they are ‘looking into it’. But it doesn’t help that the response of FF members isn’t ‘great idea, it will really help get folk to the ground’, but ‘oh it’s a thankless task’, ‘administrative burden’ Really proactive, go getting meetings of minds, isn’t it 🙄
  2. Looking at their forum a lot of humble pie has been consumed 😁
  3. Barmy Flags I’ve known folk offer from in the past http://www.barmyflags.co.uk
  4. Platelet Rich Plasma… it’s why he still won’t retire.
  5. You’ve been ‘just saying’ a lot of things, but I spotted a while back that you are largely just after a reaction, so I’ve stopped biting, you still have plenty 🎣 though…
  6. How about offering a decent service because of, you know, having a bit of professional pride?
  7. Don’t buy that sorry. They left tomorrow and all these fans would be straight down to the ticket office handing over hundreds of quid?
  8. It’s obvious why they are ‘staying away’, it’s because we charge top dollar for second tier football. To increase the gates one of two things needs to happen; either get into the Premier League, but obviously that’s not entirely in the club’s control as many, many factors are in play there before that becomes a reality, or reduce prices to a level the floating fan sees as more reasonable for the EFL, especially if they know they may miss a few games, totally in the club’s control. Do neither, so continue to charge £375-£500 a ST in the second division and season tickets will oscillate between 7k and 9k until the end of time. Not a lot else to it.
  9. Presumably he does this kind of stuff… But instead with… ‘look down here, it’s where you can watch mass beheadings every Saturday’
  10. Bolton’s are not far off half our price that’s why they sell so many. But the PNE 12k? Of course we could.
  11. Whoa, hang on, forget your promotions, relegations, play offs, trebles…roverandout’s been waiting for these hotly anticipated games for months!
  12. Depends how you define ‘loyalty’ to a football club, I buy my ST every summer, but my ‘loyalty’ to Blackburn Rovers is more than just buying a ticket and then closing my eyes and ears to poor decision making by here today, gone tomorrow executives, in order to remain ‘loyal’ My loyalty is looking out for what I deem to be the best interests of the club, as we, the fans, are the one constant - not slavishly following the official line because it comes out of the mouth of some over promoted plonker in a club tie…
  13. Oh it’s definitely turned on social media… but I just know what those around me will be saying!
  14. To be fair it’s only an odd one on here, the wider fanbase is a different issue. Ask around you in August and see who a lot of them blame for these shocking sales - overpriced tickets or ‘shit fans’.
  15. Chadster in cognitive dissonance shocker 😁
  16. I think you’ve read the FAQs wrong re four free tickets per adult. The one on their website says only 4 Under 14 tickets can be bought per adult… though happy to be corrected if you have a different FAQ. However, generally great stuff, get the next generation in just like we used to do with Under 8s… just saying. (What’s happened to your sales train, by the way? Could Mr Negative have been right that 90% of sales are made in the early bird, and we will now see a trickle? I accept your apology in advance 😉)
  17. I ‘don’t give a fig’ about them either, however I do give a lot of figs about Blackburn Rovers- so it is obviously telling and useful that very similar local clubs have had such spikes in sales. Reducing prices by £100+, even outside the PL, increases sales markedly, that is now very clear. Interesting that Bolton did it under new owners, PNE did it with the same owners, but only when the son of Trevor Hemmings has taken a more prominent role in the club… Obviously the first change won’t be happening here probably in all our bloody lifetimes, but the second is possible in the medium term - roll on that day, a new broom, a fresh approach and let’s get out of this stupor.
  18. I agree, if it’s an Adam Wharton situation and he gets to play games here, great. But if he can’t get a kick, loan him out, the ‘Clogham United’ stuff, ignorant drivel.
  19. Oh yeah the Wigan ‘rivalry’, how cringe was all that 😁
  20. It was £279 in the Riverside in 2018 when he was appointed.
