  1. Wouldn’t have thought so. Only one derby game and you get a big end to go at anyway and decent sized allocations everywhere else so there wouldn’t exactly be a clamour to sign up for it this time (and Swag will know that).
  2. There you go then… homage every season! Ergo collar= superfluous!
  3. I imagine it will ‘feel’ more expensive to a fair few ST holders as they’ve stealthy removed Club Cash from this summer that obviously used to get used by many to get £20 off a shirt…
  4. Which is fine, and we’ve had ‘Cambridge blue’ and white shirts intermittently since as homage - but don’t just try and shoehorn it in to a royal blue and white one wherever there’s a bit of space.
  5. PL games without doubt. Would be very lucrative on the Betfair exchange if you had insider knowledge of team selection/injuries before they are announced. But is there much liquidity on the exchanges for (non televised) EFL games?
  6. Yes either online or at their TO.
  7. I doubt it, I would assume it was only done for a quick cash grab to fleece those worrying about missing out on a Dingles away ticket.
  8. Well obviously I’m taking about the lower tier! (Updated for pedants corner).
  9. So about 75% full already just with ST holders, so with 6 weeks to go and then match day tickets on top it is still a very busy stand tier by modern day standards.
  10. So close… that light blue collar thing 🤷‍♂️
  11. Doing well at Christmas has seen us sell a fair few half STs in the Blackburn End these last couple of years, I imagine quite a few of those don’t bother then buying a full ST.
  12. It’s interesting, Believe Gooze has seen that the Jack Walker is considerably busier than last season, Blackburn End quieter.
  13. Different club, Accrington FC that went bust in 1896, not Accrington Stanley.
  14. Blackburn End? Ooh la la. Riverside bogs, obviously…
  15. Everton were a Lancashire founder member club too don’t forget 🌹 (not relevant to this town club discussion obviously!)
  16. Blue and white halves or quarters? 🫢
  17. Without his backing you’d imagine it’s a one way trip back to non league (if they survive).
  18. ‘But I don’t have BT’ ‘I can afford it, so what’s the problem?’
  19. This old chestnut again. Most clubs had low gates, especially in the 80s. UD is trying to say when were we last seeing crowds here that are pretty much below all our peers in our division.
  20. Won’t somebody think of Swag’s stretch bonus!
  21. Obviously the reason we aren’t seeing PNE/Bolton sales here is price. However, the cost of living crisis hasn’t particularly damaged our sales as yet, as we are looking like selling c9k STs again this time, which as shite as that is it has been pretty much been standard (give or take a bit either way) here for the past 6/7 years or so.
  22. Those record gates are largely FA cup ties that attracted huge crowds a few times a season (hard to believe in some ways when you see how diminished the cup is now) England is currently seeing the highest average league crowds since the early 1950s all the way down to non league. Attendances are absolutely booming in this country (but obviously not here) so it’s a flawed narrative about football no longer attracting big crowds.
