  1. I didn’t, was late getting over with it being a work night. Hope they had a few in for it.
  2. Had a great couple of nights at Lytham Festival. Jamiroquai were as good as ever, Jay Kay’s put on a bit of timber like (but then he is in his 50s now), but a superb voice still. And Sting last night, always seems to be a slight figure of fun in this country, but he and his band were excellent (he looks in top nick for nearly 72 too!) - biggest crowd the festival has ever had last night too, so he must do something right!
  3. Unfortunately that is what we have now. One of the all time greats, but alas Father Time waits for no man, even though he’s outran him longer than most.
  4. Let’s see what happens when Swag finally fecks off, many ways to skin a cat when it comes to hitting a revenue target. We know what his is - milk the 8/9k for as much as he can get away with, bugger growing the fanbase, he’s a bonus to grab. A new broom on the commercial side could well go down another route… though he’s on the cushiest number of his long and undistinguished career here - so why would he leave? 😒
  5. I’ll give a couple of them the benefit of the doubt as it was in those few weeks that this thread had become WUM-ery central…
  6. A few on here attempting to rewrite history by making out that there was no point making a comparison as they are a ‘bigger club’ was embarrassing.
  7. I think they are up with or even higher than what they had for most seasons in their Premier League Okocha/Hierro/Campo et al heyday…yet now they are in the *third division* but yeah no proof a substantial price cut makes a difference 🙄
  8. We had 9,300 at the end of last season, so it would be stretch bonuses all round (obviously be deemed a a big success to sell a mighty 200 more on the back of our best league position for a decade) …
  9. Odd that these far east supply chain issues are unique to BB2… anyone would think it was actually down to an incompetent commercial team at BRFC.
  10. *Willing to criticise those doing a poor job running the commercial operation at our own club.
  11. Unique shipping problems for three whole years between the far east and BB2.
  12. Possibly, but not really the point I was making.
  13. Bit of midland bias there, Dreams. Rugby Union is not particularly popular around these parts and is deemed a ‘rich kid’ sport, cricket is anything but a ‘posh’ sport in Lancs and Yorks.
  14. They’ve supposedly learnt their lessons from previous shambolic stock management. So be good to see a club shop and website with a full season of stock for the first time in about five years.
  15. Asking for leave at the start of the school summer holidays with two weeks notice… Chadster on the ball as usual 😁
  16. As soon as the club put on Facebook ‘’Tickets now on sale. Please note the Riverside will be closed for this fixture”. Yet the irony was last season our early round crowds in both cups were our highest for donkeys years.
  17. It’s called having standards and expecting the commercial side of the club to operate in a professional manner. You obviously don’t have high expectations for Blackburn Rovers, but others do and those fans are well in their rights to ‘moan’ and ‘complain’ as those incompetents are not running a operation befitting of this grand old club of ours.
  18. Two home Saturday 3pms in a row 🥰
  19. Had 6,800 for Hartlepool last August, so would expect something similar.
  20. Why would you be annoyed by Sheffield Wednesday?
