To be fair this happens *everywhere* online when someone asks the question ’sooo, what do you call this bread roll type thing?’ -

It would do, teacake is only very niche to parts of east Lancs. -

Feyenoord you mean? But I’m talking about England anyway. Grasshoppers Zurich are our fellow brethren. -

They may be baker definitions, but in reality any bread roll type thing in Blackburn would be called a tea cake, a barmcake in say, Preston. -

They are ‘fruit tea cakes’, of course. Always been tea cakes in Accy. -

Depends what ‘logic’ you are using, certainly not by actual interest. All conquering Chelsea get around 2/3,000 at home games… there’s even clubs in National League N/S (sixth tier) that get bigger gates than that. -

Blackburn/Darwen/Hyndburn/Dingleville is probably the full extent of tea cake coverage. -

Tea cake in east Lancs, though ‘barmcake’ does seem to becoming more prominent over this side. -

Adrian whatshisname - ‘Spurs should automatically be given Brighton’s European place because they are a bigger club. So call in now’ ’Bang aht of awder that’ ’Sorry have to cut you off there’… ’SELCO! It’s where the trade goes’. -
News From Other Leagues

To be fair you often do read on here from some that they’d ‘rather be in non league than have Venky’s’… which is also ridiculous. -

Women’s league always gets top billing over the EFL on the BBC these days… yet even the National League gets substantially bigger crowds. -

People still actually listen to those? 😁 -
If they are still not paying attention and are still ‘being led down the garden path’ after *thirteen* years then maybe, just maybe, this might not ever work out…

As it’s the owners that employ him , we’ll only turn into Crewe if they want us to, no?
