  1. Why? That’s not how it normally works here. Indeed if we have sold not far off 2k STs to newbies by KO, that means we’d only be selling c1k walk ons a game - which just won’t happen.
  2. To be fair this happens *everywhere* online when someone asks the question ’sooo, what do you call this bread roll type thing?’
  3. Be embargoed, if he releases it on here first Swag will be getting the Club Secretary to serve him papers… if they could find them on time.
  4. It says teacake in the Extras…
  5. It would do, teacake is only very niche to parts of east Lancs.
  6. Feyenoord you mean? But I’m talking about England anyway. Grasshoppers Zurich are our fellow brethren.
  7. All other clubs should be banned from halved shirts.
  8. They may be baker definitions, but in reality any bread roll type thing in Blackburn would be called a tea cake, a barmcake in say, Preston.
  9. ‘From memory?’ 😁 You can get a fruit tea cake anywhere - cafes, supermarkets etc etc…
  10. They are ‘fruit tea cakes’, of course. Always been tea cakes in Accy.
  11. Depends what ‘logic’ you are using, certainly not by actual interest. All conquering Chelsea get around 2/3,000 at home games… there’s even clubs in National League N/S (sixth tier) that get bigger gates than that.
  12. I’d honestly never seen it called anything else from a tea cake until I went to Leeds for uni and it was suddenly a ‘bread cake’.
  13. Don’t think you even get John Bull’s in Darwen, nevermind any other non-Blackburn area. My local chippy as a kid at Four Lane Ends used to do a cracking one.
  14. Blackburn/Darwen/Hyndburn/Dingleville is probably the full extent of tea cake coverage.
  15. Tea cake in east Lancs, though ‘barmcake’ does seem to becoming more prominent over this side.
  16. Possibly, all just adds to *yet another* shambolic ST sales campaign.
  17. No point speculating (he says as he speculates), but if we have lost 3-4k existing ST holders that seems an exceptionally high (and worrying) number - well over a third.
  18. Looking at their forum it’s come from some bloke on Twitter who’s banned from said forum… so maybe not the most reliable of sources.
  19. Adrian whatshisname - ‘Spurs should automatically be given Brighton’s European place because they are a bigger club. So call in now’ ’Bang aht of awder that’ ’Sorry have to cut you off there’… ’SELCO! It’s where the trade goes’.
  20. To be fair you often do read on here from some that they’d ‘rather be in non league than have Venky’s’… which is also ridiculous.
  21. Women’s league always gets top billing over the EFL on the BBC these days… yet even the National League gets substantially bigger crowds.
  22. People still actually listen to those? 😁
  23. If they are still not paying attention and are still ‘being led down the garden path’ after *thirteen* years then maybe, just maybe, this might not ever work out…
  24. As it’s the owners that employ him , we’ll only turn into Crewe if they want us to, no?
