I’m afraid 11 years out the top flight and not a single top 6 finish in the league below since (with crowds collapsing to more top half L1 levels than Championship) has led to diminished standards across the club. And if he goes, he goes, if you appoint good quality European managers that are happy to be a gun for hire across the continent, you have to expect them to depart at any time, and I think GB knows that - he had JDT in the door very quickly, so all you can do is have ‘trust in the process’ that he finds another good ‘un.
