  1. Presumably it will be the end of the classic Lancs out grounds when they build that new one in Leyland.
  2. I think so, yes. But I’m not certain, how could I be? But then neither were PNE when they went for it last summer.
  3. 12k at £275-£350 instead of 8.5k at £375-£450… do the math(s).
  4. Excellent idea that Leeds 👌
  5. They came back a week earlier on the 13th June last summer as the season started a week earlier (so also 6.5 weeks)… so it’s an ‘extended’ pre season this time in what context?
  6. There aren’t 5000 folk staying away because of Venky’s. We all know that. Of the fans that stopped going between 2010 and 2012 many did so because of the results of their decisions certainly, but most of those fans, if they haven’t ever been back by now, are just long out the habit. However there are also plenty of floating fans out there that would be interested in lower prices. We had 10,000+ ST holders in this division in 2019, so why couldn’t we get to c12k if prices are reduced? PL glory hunters stuff is a red herring, nobody expects PL numbers at any price whilst in this division. But higher than the present pitiful figures? Course we bloody can.
  7. Oh dear 1864 more commercial improvements that never happen, funny that. I don’t worry too much about the more peripheral stuff as a new broom on the commercial side could well look at all this stuff. It’s having such low crowds for so long that is the existential worry. Swag leaving the club urgently needs to happen, but of course why would he leave a number as cushy as this?
  8. It was mentioned again in the latest FF reading the minutes… of course they are ‘looking into it’. But it doesn’t help that the response of FF members isn’t ‘great idea, it will really help get folk to the ground’, but ‘oh it’s a thankless task’, ‘administrative burden’ Really proactive, go getting meetings of minds, isn’t it 🙄
  9. Looking at their forum a lot of humble pie has been consumed 😁
  10. Barmy Flags I’ve known folk offer from in the past http://www.barmyflags.co.uk
  11. Platelet Rich Plasma… it’s why he still won’t retire.
  12. You’ve been ‘just saying’ a lot of things, but I spotted a while back that you are largely just after a reaction, so I’ve stopped biting, you still have plenty 🎣 though…
  13. How about offering a decent service because of, you know, having a bit of professional pride?
  14. Don’t buy that sorry. They left tomorrow and all these fans would be straight down to the ticket office handing over hundreds of quid?
  15. It’s obvious why they are ‘staying away’, it’s because we charge top dollar for second tier football. To increase the gates one of two things needs to happen; either get into the Premier League, but obviously that’s not entirely in the club’s control as many, many factors are in play there before that becomes a reality, or reduce prices to a level the floating fan sees as more reasonable for the EFL, especially if they know they may miss a few games, totally in the club’s control. Do neither, so continue to charge £375-£500 a ST in the second division and season tickets will oscillate between 7k and 9k until the end of time. Not a lot else to it.
  16. Presumably he does this kind of stuff… But instead with… ‘look down here, it’s where you can watch mass beheadings every Saturday’
  17. Bolton’s are not far off half our price that’s why they sell so many. But the PNE 12k? Of course we could.
  18. Whoa, hang on, forget your promotions, relegations, play offs, trebles…roverandout’s been waiting for these hotly anticipated games for months!
  19. Depends how you define ‘loyalty’ to a football club, I buy my ST every summer, but my ‘loyalty’ to Blackburn Rovers is more than just buying a ticket and then closing my eyes and ears to poor decision making by here today, gone tomorrow executives, in order to remain ‘loyal’ My loyalty is looking out for what I deem to be the best interests of the club, as we, the fans, are the one constant - not slavishly following the official line because it comes out of the mouth of some over promoted plonker in a club tie…
  20. Oh it’s definitely turned on social media… but I just know what those around me will be saying!
  21. To be fair it’s only an odd one on here, the wider fanbase is a different issue. Ask around you in August and see who a lot of them blame for these shocking sales - overpriced tickets or ‘shit fans’.
