  1. Back on sale… and yep, they’ve actually hiked them £50. (Still haven’t reached claim your seat deadline by the looks of it).
  2. I don’t disagree, they are there to fill a couple of pages/five mins on Radio Lancs. ‘Who’s injured?’, ‘you’ll be happy/disappointed with that?’ Lot of time for RS as it goes. He’s probably the best LT Rovers man we’ve had in donkeys years. Can actually write which is an improvement on a lot of the others too. I would say Radio Lancs are much poorer across their clubs. For example, they never remotely challenged the Oystons as the club nearly collapsed. The LT went far more after Kean than RL. Always seems very cosy but that is what happens when local broadcast media has died in its arse and it’s only the public funded one left.
  3. I presume JH means in the pressers.
  4. The closest to getting any answers was the club’s own media in that Neil Yardley interview (I say ‘closest’ loosely), so what does that say about the actual local ‘journalists’…
  5. If he’d have put in a couple more performances like yesterday from Easter onwards we’d have done it…
  6. And these are the journos that ask nothing of any note throughout the season too…
  7. *2. Done it again, Chadster.
  8. Mowbray Derangement Syndrome in full flow across the board, I see. Did a decent job here, doing one there too. It went stale here, both sides needed a change. A backed JDT is preferable all round. That’s about it. He’s gone, move on.
  9. BBD vs Michael Owen, hmm…
  10. Big fan of JDT, but it certainly wasn’t a ‘wonderful’ season.
  11. Slippery Chaddy strikes again 😁
  12. Post 9am normally when they update the ticketing website… but then it is a bank holiday.
  13. We’d probably lose the ground, the training ground, the academy, most of the fanbase. Everything Jack and those that kept the club competitive before him built and grafted for. Surely the hope would be to be as high as possible when this lot finally give it up as a bad job, so we are an attractive proposition, not playing matches against Padiham.
  14. Eh? You’ve often said how Italian football was the best in the 90s. Case in point if you want proof how said poster is on the wind up most of the time.
  15. Night matches, all on Sky. Not difficult M_B, but still substantially bigger than night games in the first part of the season. Our STs are double Bolton’s, £100 more minimum than PNE, ‘absolute bargain’, they ain’t.
  16. They sold 14,058. They have already gone past it for next season. https://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/23455046.amp/
  17. 18.5k and 17k. Miles above what would be expected normally against that opposition. Cracking turnouts with only 9k ST holders.
  18. The sales were up significantly. Literally more than double the usual amount of walk ons (and Luton and Norwich were only slightly reduced anyway, £25 to £20 in the BBEnd, Reading was a crap timed offer). You are miles off here.
  19. He walked away from Liverpool when they were undisputed top dogs in this country. That’s Kenny.
  20. Luton and Norwich were excellent turnouts considering we only have 9k STs. 7k-ish buying a ticket for the game, top stuff. Scary the lack of understanding some have. But good useful idiots for Swag.
  21. Of course it wouldn’t be full if we reduced prices, who said it should be? We’ve 31,000 seats, it was rarely full as a top PL side. Ridiculous arguments these M_B. And yes Reading was a stupid game to pick, a red button night game in the middle of March with the opposition fetching around 300. Anybody with any sense at Ewood would’ve chosen the Easter match or last home game of the season. But there is one reason and one reason only that PNE sold 12k+ last summer (up from lower sales than us the year before) and we limped to 9k.
