  1. Are you just not looking at outdated Ts and Cs? The club are never exactly switched on to updating those kinds of things.
  2. Yep. You get 2,500-ish for Burnley, but as there’s no chance 2,500 ST holders are going to also buy 1875 membership, there’s literally no point getting it as the qualifying criteria for a Dingle ticket will obviously drop down to all ST holders.
  3. Only the four Cat A games get the reduction, I believe. So they can still charge top whack to the Dingles/PNE etc away support without completely ripping off home fans.
  4. He’s obviously on the wind up today for some reason as he himself has been enormously ‘negative’, to use his barometer, all summer on the season ticket thread. But I’ll bite. A percentage of football fans moan and groan constantly at grounds, it’s not a Rovers thing. Go and sit with any other set of fans or read any other clubs forums or social media interactions, that’s fandom. And it’s the fans fault is it for the empty seats? Maybe a decade of decline and season tickets for second division football in a town like Blackburn priced at £429 to £529 for any potential new fans might have something to do with it, maybe…
  5. I’m still non the wiser as how someone being ‘negative’ (and if they even are being is subjective anyway) on an obscure message board impacts the team and manager in any way…
  6. Thought you’d be the last person extrapolating brfcs to the actual fanbase! Of course the vast, vast majority of fans will get behind them (a tiny minority will boo and jeer, they always do). There was hardly even a murmur of dissent as we threw away a once in a decade opportunity last season, so without doubt a team of young lads will get full backing.
  7. But unless we know how many folk are buying QPR tickets, what’s the point? Cracking job by Gooze, but it obviously can’t work when there’s more than one ticket event on sale utilising the same ticket map.
  8. Hmm, 200+ today when it’s been a handful in recent days? Are we not running into problems now QPR match tickets are on sale? I.e if a person had just bought three tickets for that game today, they’ll be grey dots on the ST map, won’t they? As you obviously shouldn’t be able to buy a ST for seats that match ticket buyers have already bought. So the figures are now being skewed, no?
  9. I don’t agree or disagree, how could I possibly have an opinion of the job a football manager is doing before he’s managed a game?
  10. How on earth can you judge a football manager as doing a ‘good job’ (or bad job for that matter, obviously) when we haven’t played a single game? Don’t be bloody daft!
  11. Neatly sums up the sad decline of this football club in one sentence…
  12. Ha why would they ‘respect their hosts’? Fans are Pavlovian… ’We are in Wales - ‘ Err sheep, sheep, sheep shaggers!’ All a bit juvenile, but that’s football fans.
  13. Morning Bizzle! What you ranting at me for? 😀 I am very much aware of our shoestring existence, so that’s why loanees will be coming in later on. Kind of my point, that we are not slow because of new structures, but because we’ve no brass, which matters quite a bit in football. Just the way things are here and I’ve long stopped worrying about it. It’s why I rarely say much about transfer links, ‘oo Player X would be class’, ‘Player Y would be shite, going down with players like him’ , because, well what’s the point, some players will drop in eventually and some will be fine, some a bit crap and maybe a gem or two. Just the way it is at modern BRFC.
  14. I went to Catholic comps, but a load of my mates both played and watched cricket. But I suppose I was from a suburban estate in ‘posh’ Pleckgate. All relative, I suppose. Even now, go to Cherry Tree or Darwen cricket club or any of the ones in Accy or Burnley and they are doing really well and they are anything but ‘posh’, I mean actual ‘posh’, just everyday northern folk.
  15. Aye probably. Though it does makes me laugh how it’s being justified because it’s a new manager/new structure/new tea lady, when its been no different to most other recent seasons, I.e the bulk of signings, largely loanees, arriving as the season gets underway…
  16. They got rid of that ridiculous Cat A+ bracket sharpish early on last season. With night games forming the ‘C’ category. So they are just the same price as the majority of last season then, aren’t they? Handful of ‘Cat A’s’, night matches at ‘Cat C’, rest of the weekend games at ‘Cat B’. Cat A £30 to £35 Cat B £25 to £30 Cat C £20 to £25
  17. And of course it’s a big assumption that a non ST holder can/will want to make all four games, they don’t have a ST for a reason! So why bother paying £15 at all if you are only certain to go the Burnley game or you probably won’t bother if on TV? You’d end up out of pocket! The Ewood Brains Trust strikes again…
  18. Think you’re right, so presuming you can make all four, if you don’t spend the £15, they’ll cost you £120 in the BBEnd, spend £15, it’ll cost you £115 overall… roll up, roll up!
  19. Tapping into panic about potentially missing out on a Dingle ticket, as there’s not exactly much fear of missing out on other games. Membership schemes make no sense for a club that has a vast number of unfilled seats and rarely sells out away. A cynical cash grab for a club in which supply pretty much always outstrips demand (with a rare exception.) Though I suppose it is worth £15 if you are a fairly regular match day buyer and can save a £5 each time (but reading the article I can’t work out if the 1875 discount is only in place four the Cat A fixtures or all), but then many non ST holders don’t know if they will be a regular or not… that’s why many don’t have a ST to start with!
  20. Indeed, Accy are probably at their ceiling right now on the pitch, but it doesn’t stop him creating the very best experience he can for fans and constantly looking for ways to develop and ‘sweat’ the club’s assets. Called pride and standards and they are things sadly lacking here.
  21. Indeed, nobody should ever criticise the owners then if that’s the barometer! ’Err where’s your 20 million share issue? So stop moaning!’
  22. Actually become a trading club instead of saying you are one. Appoint competent people on the football side (may have happened, time will tell), appoint competent people on the non football side. FFP is a reality so you have to become more than the sum of your parts, operate smartly, this club has been the opposite for a decade now.
  23. Of course there is, means we can always have a third kit! 💰
  24. That’s been the three hundred million quid question (or however bloody much they’ve pissed up the wall) for 12 long years now…
