  1. Obviously, my point is the fact that us and PNE have a poor goal difference hasn’t stopped us being in with a shout this season.
  2. Of course they can, this is the Championship. Goal difference is largely irrelevant as we’ve shown all season.
  3. Every chance the Luton and Milwall games get chosen, so this will probably be the only game that isn't on Sky until the end of the season.
  4. No conspiracy theories from me, purely going off what JDT has said repeatedly in pressers that he isn't doing enough day to day.
  5. Much bigger budget, PL football, every chance they stay up - and even if they went down, parachute payments. He'd be off like a shot (though I'd be amazed if they went for him).
  6. Christ knows with Rovers away followings, tickets could fly out just to ST holders, or it could spend a week on open sale. Neither would surprise me. Sky coverage may slow sales down. Interesting that they've only given 4.5k when the end holds 5.5k.
  7. Sounds like he’s still a bit immature, just the way it is when you have a lot of young lads in the squad, some will develop off the pitch quicker than others. I imagine the penny will drop eventually. Shame all round though as more minutes this season would have been beneficial to him and the team. As an aside that interview definitely sounds like he’s thinking of moving JRC into midfield.
  8. In today’s Times they are reporting that the EFL have picked Sky as the preferred bidder for the next broadcasting deal. Let’s hope they get it done and the potential collective club suicide of accepting the DAZN proposal is forgotten about.
  9. That’s already decided, we had 179 unsold tickets at Birmingham.
  10. To be fair Phil you hadn’t begun re-posting on here when his head was being called for after every defeat until Leicester… (Disclaimer. Yes, it was a minority and no not replicated at Ewood, though he’s received more shit at the ground already than Teflon Tone ever got).
  11. Especially with a big hole in their accounts when they don’t qualify for Europe.
  12. He doesn’t stand out in the second division, so in what way does that make him a ‘quality player’?
  13. 92-95 was the peak PL era, been downhill ever since
  14. Totally agree, but unfortunately this is the modern game we have to operate in.
  15. Nobody has issues with loans, part and parcel in this division. People do however have issue when the loans are like the three we’ve seen this season. Two that, well, not a lot else to say on them, is there, and a promising but raw young lad in an area of the pitch where we have a plethora of promising, but raw young lads.
  16. ‘Put Garrett in then’. Yes, I suppose we can, but it is certainly a failure of recruitment that if want to drop a young loanee, we don’t have a single option to turn to in midfield that isn’t a young academy grad with a handful of games to his name.
  17. Then that lot, Sheff Utd and us going up would help to re-balance the north/south split in a league that has become very southern dominated…
  18. We would be complaining, but he’d be our problem (and probably back in the U21s by now if he was our player).
  19. We’ll see at the end of the season how much the January debacle has cost us. But it’s certainly a big ask to rely on 18-20 year olds alongside Travis to keep us up there, especially with seven games in 22 days coming up.
  20. Think they just got an ‘offer they couldn’t refuse’ from GK. Not aware of them going anywhere else.
  21. You can tell with JDT’s body language whenever he’s asked about him. That sunny disposition/perma-smirk quickly disappears. Obviously something has/is going on. Either an actual fall out or possibly issues with his attitude etc.
  22. He’s young, developing and making mistakes, par for the course with young lads. Which if he’s our academy grad, fine. But he isn’t. It reminds me of when we appointed Bowyer, he was also a rookie that made errors, and it cost us promotion. I’m all for loans if they fundamentally improve the side and are better than what you have. Elliot being a prime example or Archer at Middlesbrough. This lad just isn’t. However, if it wasn’t for Buckley’s injury or the January balls up he wouldn’t be playing. So ultimately it all comes down to mistakes in recruitment.
