  1. From Burnley away we’ve been on 19 times, including red button, in 25 games (that’s up to Luton, so could be 20 in 26 if Millwall picked).
  2. They don’t, apart from the last few weeks there’s hardly been a ticket offer all season (and we have some of the most expensive STs in the league).
  3. And how many times Luton/Millwall/Coventry, I.e fellow non parachute clubs that have been around the top 6 for months, but no real automatic hopes.
  4. So now confirmed, we will finish the season having had just *one* Saturday 3pm league match post Huddersfield on the 5th November (1 game in 13). Extraordinary stuff for a club that has been looking at a play off place at best.
  5. Why on earth would the likes of Leicester and West Ham want Lamps with his track record?
  6. Some people will pay £30-£35, but with only 2k away fans you have to sell 9,000/10,000 walk ons to even hit 20k. Ain’t happening for a Sky midweek game at that price.
  7. 7,000 Dingles to fill an end/fleece and a weekend KO, of course £30-£35 is to be expected/reasonable , but if the circumstances change then you need to adapt. It’s now a midweek Sky game with only 2,000 Dingles, so £30-£35 now not so reasonable if you want a big gate.
  8. Yes I was being optimistic. £30-£35 it is. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2023/april/06/ticket-news--rovers-v-burnley/ There is going to be ‘high demand for tickets’ supposedly, think they’ll be in for a shock. It’ll be a bigger gate tomorrow.
  9. Norwich have 27k sell outs every week in the Championship, parachute payments and player sales. Southampton are not a club that has promotion sewn up, they are unstable off the pitch with a conveyor belt of sacked managers. The likes of Tella will even be there, will they? ‘Not many relegated clubs would compare’? Get out of it. They will have a good chance, of course, all parachute clubs do, but to write off an automatic place already to a club like Southampton, massive hyperbole.
  10. Is that not more a case of he’s on big PL cash currently and any renewed deal wouldn’t be…
  11. Possibly still working out some sort of ticket offer? As surely they’ve realised with only 2k away fans a midweek Sky game at £30-£35 is not exactly going to create much of a derby occasion for the nation to see… (I’m probably being a tad too optimistic here, but they do seem to have come to their senses with ticketing these past couple of months, so you never know).
  12. That final paragraph is a bit of a reach, Phil 😁
  13. Don’t worry about morten, SG, he does like slagging off the Rovers fanbase from down Brighton.
  14. Difference being we were at the beginning of a journey to build a fanbase then. Now it’s about re-building one that was thrown away. But generally yes, 18k gate with only 9k ST holders? More than double our usual walk on numbers? That’ll do for me as it shows the support is still there.
  15. Sell more STs and we’ll see such crowds far more regularly. Anything like 18k would be a terrific gate considering we only have 9k ST holders.
  16. Indeed, much bigger Norwich and Watford vibes with them than anything resembling Dingle FC.
  17. Southampton would walk back up? Why? Norwich and Watford haven’t.
  18. ‘Kin ell. It was only a throwaway remark from roverandout. This place 😁
  19. Narrator; there was no issue.
  20. It’s £50 on their coach. Public transport on a bank holiday is a nightmare and the train will have been even more then £50. They aren’t exactly flying so 2k for a probable £100 day all in and a 12 hour round journey seems fine to me.
  21. JDT hasn’t exactly hung him out to dry in public, has he. ‘He’s more to do’ etc is about as cutting as it’s got.
  22. I believe for bank holiday games the home club can opt out of red button coverage (to boost attendance). Looks like a handful of others are the same. https://www.skysports.com/championship-fixtures
  23. The steak pud was something else. Now it’s just another nondescript ‘Chef & Brewer’ like The Grapes at Wrea Green and a plethora of others.
  24. He’s slagging off his company, not the EFL!
