Has Pears made a load of ricks? No, not particularly, but is he as good a goalkeeper? Also, no, so why is our best goalkeeper not playing in a run in that could transform this football club in just a month’s time?

I’d say there’s not a massive issue with either clubs crowds considering the area we are situated in, demographics etc. Our main issue is a CEO maintaining a price structure at odds with reality. We aren’t all as lucky as your mate to be in an entire region of England that only has three league clubs (once Hartlepool go down in the next week or so), stretching from the Scottish Borders into Yorkshire…

Dingle chanting at games just shows the lack of decent songs as much as anything else…

I honestly don’t care how we play as long as we pick up points, but picking *four* games out of forty as being a ‘joy’ doesn’t quite prove your point like you thought it did 😁

I didn’t go in for any of those daft rumours, the XBox was one the best… but he’s not exactly going to come out to the media going ‘yeah me and the gaffer had a right barney’, is he? They may never have had a crossed word, or something may have gone on, who knows, there will be kick offs at every training ground in the country every week, but most of it never gets the light of day.

Do I think there’s as much obsession with an east Lancs rival in our fanbase as vice versa? No, I honestly don’t.

I don’t think he is. He’s hiding. Very easy to plonk yourself out wide. He’s backing out of 50/50s. Is he strolling around for 90 minutes? No, but he certainly isn’t grafting like he was pre WC. None of this is surprising, we saw it with Rothwell, just human nature when you’ve got a big move lined up and you desperately don’t want to pick up an injury - it ultimately comes down to JDT to be brave enough to drop him (and he would have to be, as who the bloody hell else is scoring the goals?).

He’s become an ‘easy scapegoat’ because he is quite obviously phoning it in. We’ve known for months that he’s off, but the fans haven’t particularly had an issue with it as he was still putting a shift in… that hasn’t been the case in recent weeks.

Which is fair enough, obviously he’s not the finished article at 18, but it was a fairly disingenuous of JDT calling him out for it considering the other lad that has played most weeks isn’t exactly a grafter off the ball…

If a ‘big 6’ came in, he’d be off. Not really comparable to the likes of Rothwell.
