  1. And of course it’s a big assumption that a non ST holder can/will want to make all four games, they don’t have a ST for a reason! So why bother paying £15 at all if you are only certain to go the Burnley game or you probably won’t bother if on TV? You’d end up out of pocket! The Ewood Brains Trust strikes again…
  2. Think you’re right, so presuming you can make all four, if you don’t spend the £15, they’ll cost you £120 in the BBEnd, spend £15, it’ll cost you £115 overall… roll up, roll up!
  3. Tapping into panic about potentially missing out on a Dingle ticket, as there’s not exactly much fear of missing out on other games. Membership schemes make no sense for a club that has a vast number of unfilled seats and rarely sells out away. A cynical cash grab for a club in which supply pretty much always outstrips demand (with a rare exception.) Though I suppose it is worth £15 if you are a fairly regular match day buyer and can save a £5 each time (but reading the article I can’t work out if the 1875 discount is only in place four the Cat A fixtures or all), but then many non ST holders don’t know if they will be a regular or not… that’s why many don’t have a ST to start with!
  4. Indeed, Accy are probably at their ceiling right now on the pitch, but it doesn’t stop him creating the very best experience he can for fans and constantly looking for ways to develop and ‘sweat’ the club’s assets. Called pride and standards and they are things sadly lacking here.
  5. Indeed, nobody should ever criticise the owners then if that’s the barometer! ’Err where’s your 20 million share issue? So stop moaning!’
  6. Actually become a trading club instead of saying you are one. Appoint competent people on the football side (may have happened, time will tell), appoint competent people on the non football side. FFP is a reality so you have to become more than the sum of your parts, operate smartly, this club has been the opposite for a decade now.
  7. Of course there is, means we can always have a third kit! 💰
  8. That’s been the three hundred million quid question (or however bloody much they’ve pissed up the wall) for 12 long years now…
  9. Fair enough. Is interesting though how little time he has off this summer. Obviously a fit professional, but he must’ve had four/five weeks less time off than the rest of the squad?
  10. Very 90s, Nuttall will he loving it! 😁
  11. He seemed to have very little time off post playing for Chile in mid June to being back at Brockhall, so maybe it was pre-agreed to have an extra week? (Or he’s sorting out his transfer chillaxing on one of those manufactured islands 🤔)
  12. Yet every dog has his day, ours was last season and you have to do everything you can to grasp that opportunity (I.e January) as it may never happen again… we didn’t.
  13. Accy and *checks notes*, Barcelona friendlies in the middle of the title winning season… everybody wanted a piece, obviously!
  14. Ha, pretty sure I don’t, it’s not exactly the enigma machine on here. But fair enough if you weren’t using upset fans as a reason to not act, though plenty of others have said exactly that from BBD’s contract to Rothwell getting sold
  15. Why do I keep reading on here attempted justification of the club’s inaction because brfcs.com would be upset if ‘player x was sold’, ‘if player y got a new deal’ The feelings of a few dozen folk on a website have bugger all to do with what is right for the club’s balance sheet and supposed operating model…
  16. There would be no ‘droves’ to start with. You honestly think there are thousands, not hundreds, not dozens, but thousands of folk still ‘boycotting’ because of the owners and will return the day they leave?
  17. Yep, Dyche-like in its impact. Two absolutely transformative managers elsewhere in east Lancs as we just stagnated year after year…
  18. So that’s a yes to substantially more then.
  19. If you honestly don’t think there are substantially more Stanley shirts, and less Rovers, especially on kids knocking around the Accy area than there was a decade ago then there’s not a lot else to say.
  20. Thousands would’ve come flocking if it’s been £100 this summer. Thousands will come flocking in the PL. Crowds are crap because we are bang average second division side with ridiculous ticket prices. Venky’s have caused all that, but it’s the shite and expensive product they provide that keeps folk away not Balaji bloody Rao himself!
  21. I know there is! But ‘lived’ is probably the right tense as there are a shed load more Stanley fans/shirts in Accrington and Clayton than a decade ago.
  22. Maybe don’t charge £430/£530 for any new or returning fan then…
  23. In the early days, yes. But is there any appetite from them to do so now? Suppose we’ll never know with FFP in place, but the state of non FFP impacted club infrastructure that is suffering from a chronic lack of investment, says not.
