  1. There will always be a load of empty seats as there are 20,000 to go at in home areas (no DEnd or BBE Upper) and we only have around 7,500 ST holders, and as you just won’t get 6/7000 plus buying match day tickets every week - we are a ST heavy fan culture at Rovers, the disaster that was the summer’s ST sales campaign comes home to roost, again.
  2. Well I’ve just consulted the never wrong Rovers exit predictor… the new calendar. In 2022, Mr January is… it was nice knowing you ,Joe. BBD is… Mr June, so a summer departure it is!
  3. Just watched it. Obscenely rich dickheads chatting in rooms largely… but it’s bloody great 😀
  4. It will be, £20 absolute tops (famous last words!).
  5. Sorry, I’m talking about how on Earth this little place impacts the club/the team which was 1864s insinuation. The fact brfcs can be hard work as a user due to some people being unable to debate is a different issue, and I don’t disagree…
  6. And it matters one iota if a few dozen folk are ‘negative’ on brfcs.com, as long as fans get behind them at grounds, (which they certainly do) because?
  7. ⬆️ This is the fella that ‘tells it straight’ to the club!
  8. Blackburn and Accy - ‘Clurrrr is o’er thurrrrr ont sturrrrs!’ Burnley - ‘Cley-er is over theh-er on the stai-ers!’
  9. Crossed purposes then, I was assuming you thought it was fans who should be cleaning up the mess on the actual BRFC owned site.
  10. And fans do - I.e the sorting out of John Lewis’ grave, 100 Club purchasing kit, minibuses for the academy etc. But down at Ewood we are talking about a ground that has been left to get into a dilapidated state over a decade, it is the club that needs to sort out the remedial work, not fans with litter pickers…
  11. Get all that, and prior to the shenanigans earlier this year, then I’d have said fair enough to such a rationale. But it all now seems a very quick volte face from what they were planning earlier in 2021…
  12. I’m a mere ‘OTK’ peasant who ‘just wouldn’t understand’, of course… but the obvious question is - why the total change from the very apparent downgrade in terms of both facilities and footprint that was planned just a few months ago, to now some vast site in terms of acreage?
  13. Move it into the BwD boundaries so it’s ‘Closer to the community’ ?! Not to get all Vinjay, but that is a small time outlook and also ignorant of the realities of where much of our fanbase now resides. There are an absolute load of Rovers fans in the RV these days, I imagine Langho itself will have plenty more than many districts of Blackburn. We need to be doing MORE outside BwD, not less.
  14. Sorry didn’t realise we were now operating at Northern Premier/NW Counties level were volunteers are often relied to keep on top of the place, but a club with a turnover in the tens of millions, execs on more than a quarter of a million a year and billionaire owners… though I am probably also doing a disservice to the likes of Clitheroe FC who I imagine use a jet washer more than once a decade!
  15. It’s not particularly sitting in your seat outside, but more the concourses, for PNE the Blackburn End’s was absolutely packed pre match and at half time - and even throughout the game there were a load of folk down there…
  16. It’s the small things, I.e just general maintenance and cleaning, with a bit of rota-ed care and attention you can keep the place in good nick - but if they get left for a number of years they gradually turn into much bigger, and much more expensive jobs. Standard false economy down there.
  17. Tickets will presumably go on sale next week, at £10/15, I’d wager. Yes I get the ‘priorities’ line, but a packed out away end, harking back to the Steven Reid rocket era, get a win and carry on the momentum, can only be a positive.
  18. TM’s problem was trying to play the system he’s utilising now, but without the personnel. Now we have four very handy centre halves for the three spots, with two solid and athletic wing backs (though Nyambe’s injuries are always an issue). It’s a truism, but build that solid platform and go from there, especially as never have much issue in scoring goals.
  19. Sky have split their sports coverage up into individual sport channels these days (Sky F1, Sky Cricket etc), so I imagine you can.
  20. I long gave up on Quest. If you have Sky, you should be able to record the early hours highlights of each Championship game (or watch if you are just getting in!) on Sky Sports Football. Repeated at 10 this morning by the looks of it…
  21. We need to stop with all this ‘boycott’ talk, as I said on the match thread, there really isn’t that many that are actively ‘boycotting’. We are making a big issue and creating rows over something that is neither here nor there. In reality, we’ve never recovered from the Kean debacle, we lost around 8,000 ST holders over his reign and most have never come back. Some of that 8,000, especially at first, were making a conscious decision to withdraw, but over time most have just drifted away and now have a plethora of other things to do with their time, and have switched off from Rovers, and that is a big issue for a town club like ours with a limited fanbase to start with.
  22. There really aren’t many ‘boycotters’ in the grand scheme of things, but there are a hell of a lot of fans who have simply drifted away over this past decade and are now well out of the habit… and they are much harder to get back than someone who has made an active choice to ‘boycott’.
  23. Burnley have ended up as our all encompassing rival, but you are right, go back a few decades and it would depend on where you lived. Yes, if you lived in say Accy or Great Harwood it would be that lot, but for a Darrener it would be Bolton, for someone from say Bamber Bridge/South Ribble, PNE.
  24. A ridiculous amount of penalties in the PL these days. Just the 7 so far this weekend…
  25. Of course a winning team trumps everything, but it is Cat B. 😁 Good thing is, looking at the fixtures, post Huddersfield it looks like just Blackpool will be Cat A anyway till the end of the season…
