  1. You can get rid of at least two international breaks for a start. The extra games provided by the ESL by the back door (as UEFA folded just as the mega clubs were on the back foot), I.e. the nonsense that is the Champions League ‘Swiss model’ ain’t going anywhere, alas.
  2. The compromise should’ve been no replays but no extra time either - like the League Cup. Tottenham were always going to pull away in Extra Time against semi pros… but straight to a shoot out, anything can happen.
  3. No chance Man Utd won’t be picked. Doesn’t matter if it’s Arsenal away or Barnet at home, if they’re in the cup, they’re on TV. All about the ratings as millions of pathetic armchair glory hunters will be tuning in.
  4. Maccies in corporate? Think his Dingle pals are pulling his plonker a tad here…
  5. Yep, and the FA will start crowing that ‘Wembley is once again sacrosanct for the final’… after pocketing a wedge from Mohammed Bin Salman.
  6. I’d go, of course. But it still shouldn’t be there, but that’s the pathetic organisation that is the FA for you…
  7. …of course you should really still be 180 minutes from Wembley at that stage.
  8. So he can have a ‘bit of banter’ with all his Liverpool ‘fan’ colleagues, presumably?
  9. Looking at the comments under the club’s facebook post he’s a terrific signing and we can’t do any more because of FFP. So no issues from me.
  10. Yep, the decline of the club (of course it was relative decline pre this shower turning up) began as soon as it was decided in the summer of ‘95 to ‘stay loyal’ to a team (and Ray) that had run out of steam instead of having that ruthless drive to get even better. Too nice, too much of a ‘family club’. The rest, as they say…
  11. Season after season we are knocking on the door of the Premier League in January. Just 20 games from that stage that can completely financially transform a football club, potential owners from across the world falling over themselves to get involved… season after season we then fall away after doing feck all in the window as we have owners that seemingly couldn’t give a monkeys about said riches or the club in general - but won’t ever sell it either. As always, the question is, why?
  12. Yes, look at SuperBRFC’s post further up.
  13. Yeah don’t think Lineker and his podcast empire has anything to worry about just yet…
  14. The famous ‘chosen for foreign broadcast’. Be queuing up the get in the bars of Singapore for Birmingham V Lincoln…
  15. End of the day players will get grief on social media if they aren’t performing nowt you can do about that. But he gets a bloody good reception week in week out at Ewood considering he’s done bigger all, for what, two plus years now?
  16. No scrunched up pieces of paper this window? Shearer opening it up, “It’s a loan of Dion Sanderson 🤷‍♂️”
  17. Another example of our Big Club in a Small Town
  18. A Mark Hughes (or a Gordon Cowans) would have the forum delighted. Alas such examples are that of top quality footballers (who have an expectation to be remunerated accordingly), so it’s more likely a Gordon Greer here…
  19. Be plenty of former Blues in that lot…
  20. Serious question. Does it not get a tad boring tubbing sides with League 1/2 budgets 5-0 every week? Yes another title, wooo! Stick it to the Huns! But a little empty after a while?
  21. Come on, he did bring in that waster Tronstadt.
  22. Why not, M*B, worth a try, still can’t see them launching it in the summer for a full season over a limited time ‘The Run In’ style offer, but who knows. But a full season of what they’ve just launched (I.e sit anywhere), no chance,
  23. You are suggesting a small area of the ground for flexi tickets, I’m talking about an extension of the offer they’ve just launched (which covers all three stands) for a full season. Your example, I wouldn’t move to some seat in the corner of the Riverside or whatever (if say that’s where this small flexi area would be). However, my example, if it was for the whole ground for a full season and you could save a fair deal of cash by opting out of the night games you usually don’t go to anyway (as thousands swerve already) then I’d definitely think about knocking the ST on the head - which is why they won’t do it.
