I thought last season’s yellow was plain and cheap looking, like something a team up Pleasy would wear, yet looking round Ewood against Swansea I could see loads of folk with it on. As long as there is a Rovers badge on it, a sizeable number of fans are simply ‘take my money!’
-
To be fair they could have launched a bin bag with arm holes and it would’ve been 50/50 on that group.

Careful now... kick one Darrener and they all limp -
City pay thousands a week to scholars, so that means little.

Olympic were ‘working class’ Rovers were founded by public schoolboys. -
You know what can’t even be arsed. Obviously a very touchy individual.
-
Plenty, you?
-
Well I never!
-
Not been launched officially yet. Obviously someone cannily had a search round the online store.

‘Just bought the new kit.... love it’ Blackburn Rovers Retweeted

Oh they’ll be plenty on facebook groups saying they do.

‘The green representing the colours of the old Blackburn Corporation buses.’

Yellow with a blue trim, red and black stripes, red and black halves on rotation. Traditional Rovers away colours, simple.
-
Or they keep the yellow. Will need it for games like West Brom, Leeds Etc.

Ha good one Rovers, jumping on the Hudds bandwagon... when’s the real one being launched?

Neither is Accrington FC’s, but it doesn’t stop folk trying to claim it’s Stanley’s. -

I’ve always thought the club doesn’t make enough of its fantastic heritage. And anything that shows old Lancashire as THE heartland of the game and not the ridiculous notion that it is the north east with its 3 League clubs is fine with me. -
No. He was poor and shouldn’t be tagged with Darragh in any way.

Damning with faint praise.

Seems that way. Not a hint of a hearing being planned. So a precedent is then set, your opponent gets the 3 points and that’s it. -
So Lenihan’s (with his well known quality distribution) going to be putting crosses on the strikers’ heads now? Yeah definitely leave it to the tacticians, Paul.
-
More suited? As in they are wholly inadequate full backs, but as they have a ‘good engine’ and can run and down a flank a lot, but with no actual output? ... yeah, I suppose. A basic level of crossing and defensive ability is all I’m after, I have higher expectations of a Championship level wing back, obviously.
-
I’m quoting what you said the attributes of a wing back are, sounds like we agree that apart from being athletic, because he is someone who can’t defend or distribute the ball, he doesn’t have them
-
No point ‘getting up and down’ if he can’t distribute the ball. Otherwise should have just kept Lowe and put him there.
-
Shouldn’t wing backs be able to cross a ball?
