  1. Sky Bet sponsored club with a Sky pundit as co-owner appear on Sky as soon as they possibly could... go figure!
  2. Wigan away midweek AGAIN! Too much to ask that our only two Lancs away games can be on a weekend?
  3. It depends. They don’t normally release sales figures week by week like they are doing this time. Do sales always start low and then a shed load of folk renew just before claim your seat deadline? Possibly how it always occurs here. Especially this season as there is no early bird period and then the price hike, so even less need to rush to renew. Or they could be down like for like and we are looking at sales akin to the Coyle season as we are a fair way away from 10,000 sales with 6 weeks to the season. But we’ve no idea without that comparison to previous years.
  4. Approaching 4,000 sold. At least Sharpe isn’t still pedalling the Waggott lie that we only sold 8,500 last season. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/rovers/news/17716831.rovers-season-ticket-update-as-june-deadline-approaches/ Without a like for like you can’t really judge sales at this point. Be interesting to see what they are after the claim the seat deadline...
  5. Stoke’s crowds will soon shrink, just like Boro’s now are doing.
  6. I saw a down payment of 5 million. The other two million could just be following on next year. Paid in instalments as most fees are, nothing to with add ons.
  7. A link to where it says it was 5.25? 7 million with add ons?
  8. Realistic expectations? You throw your toys out of the pram every season due to 'Hemmings having no ambition'
  9. Doesn't always work like that here...
  10. Another FFP evasion technique...
  11. Lot of fuss over someone who didn't stand out in the third division whenever I saw him.
  12. It was on the North West BBC news this morning. Clever PR, as always. Just shows the difference when you have a committed owner fighting your corner, not an administrator.
  13. Not gone down well: https://www.smallheathalliance.com/read.php?1,2694695
  14. The North America 2026 one will be 48 teams, which will make it a right unwieldy mess.
  15. The meeting should be held in the international break (late March). Not mid May when the more organised, locally run clubs are already up and running and we finally creak into action in June.
  16. The day Preston North fecking End are a more attractive club than us we best give it up and build a Lidl on Ewood. Do me a bloody favour!
  17. Was it written by a kid on work experience or what?! https://www.cafc.co.uk/news/view/5d07a7df422e2/charlton-unable-to-reach-an-agreement-with-lee-bowyer-on-contract-extension
  18. Love to be a fly on the wall in some of these EFL meetings
  19. Rothwell was the first signing last summer on the 22nd June. So par for the course here.
  20. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2019/june/carabao-cup-first-round-draw-next-week/?fbclid=IwAR3o4kuhK9xANsd_RAORZKvWn14Hjyh8e7r990mA1bXaa3YHUxLzS_2n2pU First round draw on Thursday at 7pm, live from... a Morrison’s store. ?‍♂️
  21. Good to hear. It’s those fans that need targeting not the core that renew regardless.
  22. I received a season ticket leaflet in the post yesterday . Any non/lapsed ST holders had one?
  23. Just missed out? They were miles away, a point more than us.
  24. Fair play to Sharpe, he’s somehow eked out around 5 stories about Bauer since the end of May.
  25. At least it isn’t EMCOR, ay Stu!?
