  1. Also known as the 2019/20 early bird prices...
  2. PNE as an example usually charge a standard £24, and that’s with £400 minimum season tickets. Nearly £30 for third division football (presumably £30+ next season) is bloody stupid, end of.
  3. I always remember Gordon, formerly of this parish, warning against de-valuing our product too much with cheap ST deals. JH’s list tells us that they are now competitive with the league we’ll be in, not the noticeably cheap prices they once were.
  4. If the rumours are true and away followings of under 3k (which will be most matches) are going to be in the DEnd upper next season, then that end of the ground is going to look pretty desolate.
  5. Oh and why Wednesday? Could have had them on sale today.
  6. End of the day a £50 increase is a fair old whack in one go, I expected the BBEnd to maybe go up to £320 or so, but £299 to £349 is not insignificant.
  7. They have been advertising the dinner on social media, but I assume it’s largely aimed at local businesses
  8. So there will be 20,000 avaliable home seats - Jack Walker, Riverside and BBEnd lower. Suppose it makes sense to have the 11/12000 home fans in a smaller area. Less scattered. I assume the rise in ST prices will also mean matchday prices also increase, so get ready for £30 walk-on prices. As seen with the 1875 Lounge, the £120 per person end of season dinner etc, Waggott is going to try and squeeze out every penny - however I worry that he has misjudged our fanbase and we won’t see much, if any increase in ST holders.
  9. With it being this 'blue n white' day, I'm holding out a sliver of hope that they'll be released today. Ineptitude of the highest order if the 25,000 don't hear about season tickets by 7.30pm tomorrow.
  10. Hibs forum: Big mates with King Charles apparently... http://www.hibs.net/showthread.php?330607-Dylan
  11. On Dack, who has scored 18 goals this season, Mowbray said: “He’s got a grade two hamstring strain which is probably four to six weeks (out). “That’s probably about as long as he will get off before he’s back pre-season training. “That will be managed through the summer which light-heartedly let’s say it might not be a bad thing from my point of view that we have half an eye on Bradley throughout the summer. i.e. keep off the sauce!
  12. You could say that about a few of our players, it's about desire...and why technically decent players are often plying their trade in the third division.
  13. Lower Darwen is a village between Blackburn and Darwen, simple as that really Vinny.
  14. So say Burton have a squad of 18, that's £444,000 a year each - 9k a week. Surely they aren't paying that?
  15. From an English point of view, France ‘98 until 2010 there was still hype around the England team (often massively overblown hype), that has rapidly waned since - with the final nadir of Iceland. You’ve got a big unknown with Russia as the hosts and generally international football is now a distant third after domestic and European club football.
  16. Sure they had the monstrosity that is ‘The Mall’ one week.
  17. Any chance we could be one of said clubs? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43955431
  18. Short has also sorted out their debt prior to his departure. You can imagine a reinvigorated Sunderland next season - so another good reason to have escaped League 1.
  19. Every week around 2008 with the 'Taking Back Ewood' campaign - we had around 20,000 season ticket holders back then.
  20. My view too, Waggott will be rubbing his hands with the £30 tickets he can flog to big away support.
  21. Saw a rumour on Facebook that Rovers are planning to have away fans in the top tier of the Darwen End next season. Might be rollocks, but if they did you imagine they must have some imaginative pricing up their sleeve if they are intending Rovers fans to be across the whole lower tier. Interesting that it looks as they are selling tickets in the entire lower tier for Oxford...
  22. Pretty sure Evans has another year on his deal...
  23. I was. Not particulary arsed about the title, I'm happy to slip out of the third division, so get Travis, Tomlinson et al in the side.
