It’s a fair point, it should have been on an attendance thread, but if a poster says something people think is silly on a different thread, should it just be ignored? Or perhaps mods could be a bit more active and move posts to appropriate threads, if possible?

To be fair it could have been a mistake from the police fella. But I would imagine it was more than a few hundred, if not 3k. For example there were at least 5 regulars in my vicinity not there today. We shouldn’t forget that more and more of our fanbase reside outside the area.

Doesn’t Northwich have 3 clubs all at a decent non league/semi pro level? Must be quite unique for a town considerably smaller than Darwen...

No it’s not wrong. If you can’t afford £30, you can’t afford it, simple as that. No point talking about spreading season ticket costs as you can’t buy one in October. Now if you’d have said ‘for those that can afford it get your arse to Ewood’ then it would be a fair point. But no. Honestly chaddy, not sure what planet you’re on half the time.

It doesn’t bother me personally because I know he’s usually wrong. However a lot of folk will take what he says at face value, especially because I doubt a lot of readers realise he’s just a fan, not an LT journo. Anyway we’ve probably done this to death (until next week!)
